  1. News just in... the chick is out, and Steve's inserting a 3D cad scuplture of himself.
  2. Yep I noticed the universal joint thing too. I mean, really? And last nite a fellow with a really worn out healey has his protege "diagnose" a problem. "Compression's OK cause the engine sounds good!" then tells that the problem is the starter because of course the coil wire is disconnected, and we all know that can fix a bad starter. This seems aimed at non-car people, or maybe even car people who no nothing of how a car works. Or maybe people who are drama junkies. Just dont get me started on the fakey tire squealing noises.......
  3. Simca, but close enough to a Fiat. Just google it, I can't find any pics that dont take up the whole page.
  4. Enough so that I think I should sell off the ones I dont really love.
  5. I dig that first pic, it looks real mean!
  6. Excellent, I like the tinted windows and the Vicky's wheels/tires, plus the olds mill!
  7. I really like this, not only for the style, but the fact that you hand painted it makes it all that much better. Great job, love it!
  8. It's all in the lighting !
  9. Weren't those 9 bucks last week?
  10. The original of course. Any kit that's got one of these is always a favorite in my book
  11. Also 4, 5, 6, and probably 7. Thats how I got it! Weren't you like, 2 years old when GT3 came out?
  12. Yea, well, those are pretty small. The speed bumps around my place are on steroids. 6 feet wide and 8 inches high.
  13. Thx guys! Nothing but tube glue and testor's contour putty in that one.
  14. That's a beautiful car Bill. Sure makes those other 3 look like poop.
  15. Those taillights are going to open up a whole lot of possibilities!
  16. That's pretty cool. I chopped this Merc following Tim's insturctions back in '78. It fell off a shelf so its looking a little ragged.
  17. I've used that Aztec paint a few times. It actually sticks to bare plastic pretty good, but you should scuff the plastic with some 800 or 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. After its sprayed, you can 'set it' with a warm blowdryer. I used about 18 psi on the compressor, and thin coats. It doesn't like to be sprayed on too thick. It will dry to a satin finish, so don't get wrapped up in trying to get a good gloss coat. It needs clear.
  18. Wow, thats excellent! Great work, it sure looks just like the cover car. I dig this!
  19. I got these off ebay...theyre waiting patiently for some attention And practicing some airbrush work with Testor's Aztec colors
  20. Um, yea, nice headlights. The car is nice too!
  21. That Scat City kit is a reissue, or a previous issue of the Feverbee. Fill disclosure, this isnt my model!
  22. I like this! I might have to follow your lead on the one I have!
  23. I enjoy seeing old old models that have survived. This one's my oldest, at only 41. I was just a young whippersnapper then.
  24. I took this one to the 1985 Oakland GNRS figuring it was an easy win. Well, it wasnt even an honorable mention.
