  1. Neat, Ron, sure looks like he could have been.
  2. Thats pretty cool. I used to collect them too, but I dont remember if I have any auto related. Im going to have to check.
  3. In my shop, 90 weight gear lube, especially when its really hot. In my women, Ciara perfume, especially when they're.....oh nevermind.
  4. Yep its the Boyd's hauler. You can still find them on ebay. There's one there now tho its expensive.
  5. I remember the 29 and the stude from somewhere else...great to see them again. The 29 blew my mind once again.

Excellent, so smooth and clean. The 3/4 rear view is particularly great. I dig it!
  7. Yep, they regularly go for $$$, but wouldn't it be great to have them in the pile!
  8. There's something similar to this steaming pile in my town. Believe me, it gets even "steamier" in person, if ya know what I mean.
  9. Thanks for that trip back in time! I remember it but didnt enter. One of them was on ebay a couple years ago, might have been one of these.
  10. Sad that 12-step was not enough to overcome his inner battle. Depression can be suffocating, and self-medicating is not the answer.
  11. Both outstanding, who needs full detail when the presentation is as nice as these!
  12. Ooooo those slanted eyes with mascara! Ugh!
  13. I didnt notice the hood or the missing windshield frame.
  14. No, it is in fact the original annual kit. Its has the plate type chassis whereas the funny car version utilized the familiar AWB "Rat Packer" style chassis. The custom interior cover with streamlined headrest was a custom option in the original kit.
  15. Holy moly, that lead shot shows the 1964 Olds Cutlass. That hasn't been out for 50 years, and did not get destroyed by the funny car version.
  16. To add to what Bill said on wheels, wonky camber, massive toe-in or out, wheels that stick out past the bead of the tires, and all four tires pointing in different directions. Good grief. I frequently see the build up of what looks like and exceptional model, then when the finished pics show up, the dang wheels ruin it all.
  17. Sheesh, and I thought the "dragon" corvette was an abomination
  18. The Monogram '36 came as a convertible. The original issue molded in tan as well as the yellow street rod version from the early 70's. I dont think any other issues of the kit has the convertible parts.
  19. Happy to help Hans! No relation to Jon Asher, either the drag racing photographer or the recording artist. That kit would make the basis for a nice sand dragster!
  20. I bet its the same as the Bed Buggy http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/mpc-instructions/show-rods/mpc-barris-bed-buggy/bedbuggy2copy.html
  21. Nice, I dig the minimal chrome! Those sedans sure look great done up as highboys.
  22. Very clean build up of a mess of a kit. The 2 tone paint is an excellent choice, looks great, I dig it.
  23. I have a friend with a 2012 Fiesta, auto trans. You can NOT ck the trans fluid in it. There is no dipstick. The manual says it is sealed, and the owner must take it to a Ford dealer for service. At least you can still ck the oil and coolant.
