On of my buddies had a Pinto Pangra. Dang it was swoopy. I pass by H&H Body in Hayward twice a month, the guys that did his conversion.

My best friend had the fiberglass 40 Ford nose on his 58 Bug. He spent a fortune having a metalworker duplicate it in aluminum, and then modifying the rest of the body to look like a mini 40 Ford. When he ran out of funds and needed a driver, he chopped the front and back ends off, made it into a Baja Bug and dropped a Capri V-6 into it. What a mess. I had forgotten how hideous that Rollswagen was.

Sorry to hear. Keep positive. My model building buddy from the 60's had cancer, had one kidney removed, and is doing great.

Actually at one point or another, I've had a number of these. Still have the body from the Nova Crew wagon. I really loved the blue windows in the Elegance Series.
