  1. Snake and Mongoose should be um, interesting. Fakey tire squealing noises at 1:30 and 2:00 in the trailer. Rush looks better.
  2. I dig it! If its DKP themed, what color? Something like this?
  3. Here's a model of mine. I didn't build it, but when it came up for sale, all my neuro-transmitters lit up, and I just couldnt say no. The fact that it was built by the son of the fellow that built the real thing served to make this a gotta-have too.
  4. The g/f bought a new Mustang in 1971. Since then she has had a few hondas and even a hyundai. I convinced her to buy a Fiesta last year and she loves it.
  5. This must be why, when I try to view one of multiple pics in a listing I get the little timer thingy in the window going around and around and no pic showing.....soemtimes for 5 or more minutes.
  6. Scale Dreams closed up recently, I dont rememeber why.
  7. I've seen one, perhaps on ebay. Have no idea who did it, and whether its a "professional" resin caster, or just some guy doing a few extras for sale. It IS out there.........
  8. I agree with all of what Bill said, and will add too much toe in/out, excessive camber ( when the model is not hellaflush/demon camber ) all four wheels pointing in different directions, "tripod" wheels, and stupid stance. It just is goofy and unrealistic to see a pro touring style model with a 4x4 ride height, the rear lower than the front, the front tires sticking outside the bodywork and the rears tucked in, but this happens over and over, sometimes even to an otherwise beautiful model. Another thing that bothers me is tuner wheels and tires on otherwise vintage rods, but that might be more of a "taste" thing.
  9. The car and the guy seem to have the same unfortunate smile.
  10. Thats pretty amazing considering its 1/32.
  11. I'm in Ardenwood, just 15 mins away. Have you been to Hobbies Unlimited in San Lorenzo? Great place, I've shopped there since the sixities.

I dig that last one Dave!
  13. Wow thats nice, I love it already.
  14. All fantastic, I love the "Apache" and "Cherokee". Great job with the brush. I sure wish those old Pactra paints were still available.
  15. Geez thats shocking. I liked him. Anyone who can win 3 consecutive USAC Midget titles has got my respect. Prayers sent.
  16. You should tighten up those huge panel gaps.
  17. I'm not falling for it John, every pro modeler knows that "promodeler" certificates have been counterfeited and the real deal is a "Pro Modeler" Certificate. Even the originator of this thread, Ray, has acknowledged this in the topic heading. Sheesh Its 2 words. Oh, and Bob, your ring is priceless and will be delivered to you upon registration and cash deposit of $5,000 dollars U.S. with the First Nigerian Bank of Nigeria Unlimited Corporation, Limited.
  18. Excellent! Love the choice of color and wheels. Camber and stance are just right. Great job. Do you have any brighter pics?
  19. Yup, great change! Very clean workmanship too.
  20. Just send me your last four builds, no application fee, and you will receive a personally hand-drawn and signed certificate suitable for taping to the fridge. No two certificates shall be alike, if you send me 8 models, you will receive 2 certificates, and so on.....
  21. I dig that last shot. Perfect attitude, great weathering, the contrast with the wheels/tires, engine, and body is great.
  22. Love those flares, and the chassis is looking great.
  23. Agreed with Bill. Overall looking good, but that channel is a bit much. I dig that SVO 4 banger. Heres a link to a bunch of vintage mills, perhaps you can find some inspiration and adapt some vintage parts to the block. http://nwvs.org/Technical/Engines/EngineModelABThumbs.shtml
  24. Um, Oscar, the fit on that 914 is worse than the box shows. I did get one built, but it took a "practice kit" first. That being said, it can look very nice when done.
