  1. This is mine. I cant show you the desktop cause my computer doesn't do "print screen" Looks pretty cool on a 17" monitor. My ex G/f commented on Jungle Pam, but I told her I was looking at the car!
  2. Yup. Now if they just get rid of the "new" wheels and three bar mags, restore the chrome reverse or the full hubcaps, we have a winner!
  3. Bill's right. I use a scriber along the trim lines before primer and paint. It makes trimming the BMF sooooo much easier.
  4. All is good to know since I wanted some wheels. But y'all should go to the "Model Pigs" and post this stuff. Good traders, bad traders, sellers etc.
  5. Yeah, talk about polishing a turd. I would not have guessed this to be a TKM kit if you hadn't spilled the beans. Congrats, you should be proud!
  6. Wow, thats nice. I dig that "demon camber"!
  7. My jaw just hit the floor.
  8. Yup, so far so good, one can never be too low Jamiko! Hey Luis, I'm gonna have to post my Shakotan Hilux WIP.
  9. Interesting topic Casey. For #3 someone, I think on this forum, sanded off molded in windshield bars ( ala nascar ) from a windshield, then polished it up, so thinning on would certainly be feasible. For #5 I have seen several times where a model has had the bottom of the tires sanded flat to give the impression of a bit of squish. I have never seen anyone create that slight bulge youre talking about. Im sure not gonna try it, I have a hard enough time getting all four tires pointing the same direction!
  10. Ernest, have you noticed we have the same avatar?
  11. Between your model, and your photo skill, I dont know which is better......either way, fantastic!
  12. Unexpected, but very tasty!! If I could make a comment, please, change the ropes for "rug thread". I used it on this one, and its more in scale.
  13. I love Jim's Merc, and yours Doc. In fact, I think it my favorite of all your creations. I've got a couple revell mercs, I was gonna do them up as sleds, but your saltlicker has me going in a different direction. I love that refridgerator white and red combo.
  14. Nice work Blair, and you've got some great photo skills.
  15. That's looking real sharp, Curt.
  16. Nows THATS dang cool!
  17. Totally freakin' cool Doc. I'm diggin' it!
  18. One word. Incredible!
  19. Agreed with Bill, stance is everything. Second is BMF. I love the polished aluminum, it looks much more in scale than the bright chrome.
  20. What a fantastic combination. You've got some impressive skills!
  21. John, your obsession is why your models are always outstanding.
  22. Thx for the compliments Mark. The red with white stripes version was indeed the "Road Ripper" This blue version I dont know. Only things I like about my build are the wheels and tires, and the rack with boards.
  23. Hope you're not going to build it and keep the box intact. Might not be a big deal today, but in 20 years it will really be something.
  24. Some gorgeous models displayed! That being said, I've built the Monogram 53 and the Revell 54. The Monogram pretty much falls together, while the Revell is very fiddlly. The front end of the Monogram is way off and too flat, but the roof of the Revell is too arched. I think the best combo would to use 90% of the Monogram kit, and splice on the Revell front end. Just my 2 cents.
