  1. Do you guys think this one is too far along to enter?
  2. Wow, thats something I have never seen before. Great idea, and those engines look fantastic.
  3. John, that 57 is stunning!
  4. Professor Motor has this one. Anglewinder steel chassis with floating pan, uses commercial guide ( read Jet-Flag ) piano wire front axle, accepts bearings for a 3/32 rear axle, only 15 bucks, lots of features of 1/24 pro, it should handle great. http://www.professor...ct-p/et1000.htm
  5. Great idea, but I have one better. I use Pringles can lids. Gives me a great excuse to eat more Pringles!
  6. Over the top! I love how low you got it, you rarely see these big scale Deuces that low. Looks like it came right out of the pages of Street Rodder mag. Fantastic!
  7. Awesome, what a tough looking Fiat, dig that engine! But I guess you already know how I feel

Fantastic work! One of my favorite cars. Nice to see you doing justice to it! I have the Cox version of that, I really should contact Norm and get the missing pieces.
  9. Coming along quite excellently! Oughta look great when the woodgrain is done.
  10. Here are 2 versions of the "normal" nose. They show up on ebay from time to time.
  11. Buena Park raceway? Lucky you!
  12. Fantastic build.
  13. Very nice! I sure dig the superbird and daytona convertibles!
  14. Love most everything, but wish the original builder kept the stock window molidngs.
  15. You talking about a Bug, or a rail?
  16. Metal bits for plastic, carborundum bits for metal or wood. I was in the concrete saw industry for decades, a hard blade cuts soft material, a soft blade cuts hard material.
  17. Excellent! Would be nice for a shelf model, but as a slot car, whoot whoot!
  18. Very cool! I have gotta get that kit!
  19. You say "aint nothing special"?? Yea, right, everything you do is special. Love this!!
  20. Very nice engine! Was confused about the title of your thread, but now I get it. "beetle" engine
  21. Being an old slotracer, I had a great pit box. Just swapped out the slot stuff for models. In 1968 I built an AMT 32 Ford while on the road with the parents doing vacation. They were none too happy when I sprayed some of the back seat gold. Imagine painting a model in the back seat at 65mph. Similar thing happened a couple years later. While building the AMT Chevy ll AWB in our motel room, the dresser "accidentally" got a lot of overspray. The model, however, came out as one of my best!
  22. I think my Mother defined the word "warpath"
