  1. Insane, I dig it. Looking at your last mockup, I think it looks better than the Hairy Olds. I'm not quite sold on the paint job. Why dont you post a mock up now? I feel maybe seeing the overall concept might tone down that flake a bit. Any plans for decals?
  2. Very nice work!
  3. Beautiful paint and foil!
  4. Thats actually turning out pretty cool!
  5. The Parts Box has them. Heres a link. I realize that theyre a long ways away, and they have a minimum, but their parts are beyond reproach. http://www.thepartsbox.com/
  6. Looking great! The pinstriping on the frame is a great touch
  7. Sure doesnt help that its a smidge out of focus.
  8. Real nice! The stretchwalls look great on it.
  9. Sounds good to me! That dang o'l koolaid is always a favorite!
  10. Do any of you guys know how to get parts for Fujimi kits? I am missing a small part from a sealed kit. I googled and Hobbylink's parts dept is still down since the earthquake, and Hobby Search's site is down for "maintenance" . I have no experience in these kits from Japan. I bought if off ebay and dont really want to go thru the headache of returning it then looking for it and buying it once again from someone else. And oh yea, the kit is out of stock at both those vendors. Any ideas? This is the kit

  20. One year I gave my fiancee a very nice wool sweater and some expensive perfume. She got me a self-help book. She only lasted about 5 more months Oh, and i still haven't read the book.
  21. Isnt the plural supposed to be "Prii"? prounounced Pre-eye.
  22. I like to have 2 of everything, one to work out the bugs, and one to do up right. Like a lot of us, if I built one kit a month I would pass on before the stash is used up. But i have an addiction of sorts, despite have 2 dozen vintage AMT 32 Fords, when I find one I just have to get it. My newest fascinaton is with the Japanese shakotan/bosozoku/hippari thing. I am collecting JDM kits and Hippari wheel sets. Its probably a good thing they have to come from overseas or I'd be spending a lot more. And then theres all those Modelhaus tires and wheels................and the new Pegasus Crossbars, soverigns, and chrome reverse, then Round 2 Releases the 49 Merc, the 40 delivery.........I'm in trouble!
  23. I "luke" the stealth too
  24. At least you donn gots to clean the "chimBley" My parents gots a Chimbley and tolded me to clean it. I tolded them they's gots to axe me niceley, and stuff. This is the funniest thread ever, and stuff. Went to the urban dictionary. My dad called me goopy and I never understood. Seems it means dopey or brainheaded. Coming from Chi-Town it seems we had a language all our own. Front room for living room, pop for a carbonated beverage, El for the elevated train, brewski for a beer, and couch for sofa. You should understand Harry. Oooo, I'm in trouble when my son calls me "dude"
