Are you guys talking about the frame? I have an original frame and besides huge parting lines it looks OK. I'll have to check my "Hot Rods" reissue, the one molded in yellow.
Wow. Fun to think about.
1. Skyline GTR 35
2. Lancia Delta EVO
3. Cal-look bug
4.1998 C-3500 Dually. Gotta have a truck!
5. Finally, nothing is really complete without a Tee-bucket. Ill choose an Ivo clone!\\
The MPC 1950 Mercury. I have an original as well as the reissue. Both of them are ridiculously far from being "snap" kits. If i had built the original I would not have gotten the reissue.
Love the lime green. Hope the crazing isnt too bad. Panel lines look sorta Ok, did you rescribe them or just blacken?
I'd love to see one of these done up with all the looney bits the old 500 Abarth had.
Not a fan of big wheels by any means, but they really fit your build. This might be the first time that I love these wheels on anything. Keep it coming!
Thx Bill. I got some of the Testors Acrylic pearl Green in a bit back, so that 32 might get done! I really hate the lime green engine block and suspension, but its too late now.
Greg did a tutorial on it, spray it on at an angle. Supposedly when it is applied properly it doesnt rub off like many have said. I have a bottle on the shelf waiting.....
I always liked the old Aurora version. Parts fit was good, detail was good, and I managed to build it when I was a teenager. Revell-O-gram reissued it in 1997. I think the engine might have been a bit small, but the kit built quite well.
