  1. do it conor .the rules are in a seperate thread I think
  2. I am still working on mine well actually working out the plan for mine . hopefully I will get it done by the deadline and not have to claim that mine has a working scale cloaking device.
  3. great paint job! I think the design is perfect for that truck. I have a hard time getting my brain to understand how to mask multi color paint jobs but I'm glad you don't have that problem!
  4. nice kitbashing I like the color ,nice choice of chassis and you brought it all together very well.one thing that stands out that you could easily improve is by blacking out the outer edges of the windows .you can use a black sharpie or paint it but I think it is a small thing that makes a big difference .again great job
  5. there are alot of different ways to paint the chrome trim sometimes you will use more than one on the same model.the best way to replicate chrome trim is probably bare metal foil.since you're specifically asking about painting I'll focus on that. the easiest is probably using a paint marker or silver sharpie if you have problems keeping your hand still try resting it on something to help keep it still .using a mild tack tape to mask off the roof is a good idea too just remember that the tape is in case of an accident and not a failsafe you should still try not to get paint on the tape. practice practice practice not alot of people can freehand chrome trim . so good luck I hope this helps point you in the right direction.
  6. you're off to a good start keep us posted
  7. the last time they tried that we got the LeCar what a piece of dookey and the yugo was worse the opel gt was cool but not built well .
  8. thats all I need . If you guys have heard ,known, done business with I'm down it would be nice to have some in brand new packages and if they make it to the lhs it's nice to have something to buy for less than 10.00 for those times when you already have everything on the shelves.
  9. that is pretty cool these kits the infini t and stingaree and the forth coming cuda are new to me I hadn't seen the bugaboo .are there more in this series?I think your bugaboo resto looks great!

  16. I am saddened by this news.If I had the chance I would thank Bob for his contribution to this hobby.I never met him and still I feel the loss.my condolences to his family .I imagine he has had a hand in alot of my builds and I don't even know it .
  17. this is one of my favorite trans am cars and you captured it quite well. did you scratch build the fuel filler assembly? what kit parts did you use ?
  18. great job I really like the headers. I always wanted to build something with an allison engine but haven't gotten around to researching how to detail the engine some stuff I can figure out but the fuel lines and electrical system and cooling mysterious even if I had pictures. once again great job!
  19. I really like it. it is a shame there hasn't been a racing 4x4 done in scale.you got the look right thats for sure keep it up!
  20. welcome glad your coming back to the plastic . I would recommend building a model you remember building ,that way your guaranteed an improvement over the last time you built it.seriously though rebuilding an old favorite should be pretty gratifying.I like using the snap together kit to practice things like painting bare metal foiling and just seeing how much visual detail can be added to a model. good luck and be patient!
  21. great work Curt.
  22. nice flames I like how you put them on the dash.I also like the colors you used .
  23. so now that the great brake debate is over and we can't discuss politics and a pillars looked better when they were more dangerous when will the new challengers be out?
  24. that is a real eyegrabber I wish I could see one on the street.make sure ford pays you royalties when they steal your idea.
