hobby store is a good place for quality paint designed for plastic kits. I like tamiya paints and the newer testors lacquer paints.you can find good primers and two part body fillers at the autoparts store . new release kits at the hobby store (the ones you have been waiting for for years)a good place to find kits that are out of production and vintage kits online auction service.tools you'll find all over the place .watch your local paper for 40% off coupons at michaels which also has lots of handy tools and paint brushes and lots of other things.for keepig up to date on the hobby this and other online sites and of course magazines like model cars and that other one. good luck and ask any questions you may have welcome aboard

cool pics I had a gluebomb vettevan by mpc and started a little customization and discovered that i could have easily started with a more common vette and got the same results.I like the white vette.

nice work great detailing in the engine compartment.I also like the colors.

nice paint/polish job,I think the superstallion was the best looking mustang I had seen for awhile until the new style came out.

those turbos are nice and so is the rest of the car .

that's great !I bought my son a cheapie digital camera and at back to the fifties car show he took many many pics of wheels that he liked not the whole car just the wheels . Kids are great and it is fascinating to see the world through their eyes.

I like where your going with this and it looks great. the 40 fords were my favorite when i was starting out and following along with the custom series that mark gustavson did awhile back really helped me understand sectioning chopping and the basics of these mods. but that hood has always given me trouble I can never get it to line up the way I want. I look forward to more pics as this build progresses.

we went to a car show today and Nathan saw a nice 34 ford he liked so I suppose that's what it will be.perhaps the finished 34 will make a cameo on the old diorama

saw it tonight it is exactly what you would expect,I enjoyed it, my wife,not so much. lots of action story line nothing like the original deathrace 2000,they pretty much just used names of characters and a very loose interpretation of the original storyline.but the action is good and the violence is better.and amazingly doesn't strain credulity as much as stathams other movies ie crank and tranporter 2.I give it 3.5 tubes of glue out of 5.

I took my wife to deathrace tonight . I told her the name of the film she looked it up ,found the theater and then was surprised that she didn't love a movie called deathrace. she told me she thought it was going to be better and she also thought there was going to be cooler cars.Oh well guess I have to go see a smoochie movie that i think will be better.I think I have my car picked but I need to run down a couple options first.
