  1. ulrich minimen were made in the 60's your best bet is an online auction service(you know the one)or local toy and model shows sometimes you can find them cheap and sometimes not.MY own opinion is about 12.00-15.00 is a fair price for the card seen above after that it is up to you how badly you want it.
  2. sure is fun isn't it?
  3. great job ,it really pulls you in

    70 mach 1

nice job like the colors ,are those firestone decals in the kit?when using the polishing kit keep them wet and good luck
  5. I would like to see your finished ,modified ,painted whatever I just haven't seen any built.I'm getting ready to start adding people to my cars and am curious to see what others have done with these guys.also any good ideas on children of all ages they seem to be lacking in 1/25and 1/24 thanks
  6. if it is just a hoop behind the drivers seat try some lead free solder use epoxy or super glue to attach.when using plastic tube I usually eyeball the size of plastic tube and put some appropriate sized wire inside the tube to help hold the shape.the wire from a wire feed welder is a good size and strength wire for putting inside the tube.
  7. nice work clay, looks like it was alot of fun .my favorite pic is the avanti rollin onto the trailer. keep up the great work! whats next?
  8. what he said , and also I like tenax for my liquid glue another tool you may want to check out is the flexi file it is a "u" shaped aluminum thingy that you attach premade sandpaper strips great for those mold lines and glue joints.and finally just a suggestion when you have decided which muscle car you want to build run it by some one who has been building for a while so that you can avoid buying a crappy kit there are some out there and you can't always trust the box art for example there is a gremlin kit out there stated as 1/24 but it is actually much bigger.good luck and feel free to question away that's how you get better.
  9. april 1st was awhile ago. just kidding have fun and I look forward to seeing this one under glass.
  10. thanks for the info .I like trucks but lack even a general knowledge about them making it difficult to "fake it".however I am paying attention to you guys here and when I feel ready I will tackle a few probably starting with the ford c and the dodge L-700 when I get comfortable enough I want to build my transtar co 4070a detailed and period accurate. Thanks again for the quick response.

    72 MAVERICK

impressive , mavericks are way cool.Keep it up
  14. I like the colors really nice looking . are those rims from the kit? keep it up!
  15. cool truck,I like seeing alternative truck subjects that are a little different .Is that frame correct for that truck or is there a lot of details changed? If it is a correct frame how far back would that frame be accurate and is there a lot of change in chassis technology through the years
  16. It was a fun show .lots of quality models ,the junior division needs more participants though only three showed up but for their ages it was impressive.there were quite a few motorcycles and at least 5 dioramas.I need to start finishing more projects or maybe even a project to share at the show because it is really fun seeing a built /completed model .
  17. very nice work.I wish I was more familiar with the subject matter so I could really appreciate the work you've done
  18. lookin good ,I like the nose down in the weeds look I don't think you could get it any lower!seriously though I hope it's workin for you.
  19. I like it ,I hope you can get that stance too!
  20. great work I would love to see in progress photos on projects like this .
  21. ###### fine job keep up the great work . what do you have planned next?I always try to incorporate a new technique into every build.best of luck .
  22. love it ,you really nailed it keep up the good work
  23. I think it is the "tonka" look that I like,I also am fascinated by the fact that alot of people have never seen this kit, when I got the first one I wasn't sure about the scale but I think the wheels are the only under scaled items .you can just use the wheels from a c-600 or l-700 and it looks right.trucks aren't my specialty but I think this will be a fun project as soon as I nail down exactly what I want to do with it .
  24. I found another one that is a moving van check it out well anyone know of any other iterations of this kit?
  25. nice work ,I like the color choice. keep up the good work.
