  2. great job . i really like how you set up the interior area. I wonder if it would set the front tires back down before the end of the run.
  3. That is one coool ride .I really like the approach you took on this one seems a good way to get models finished.keep posting your builds I enjoy them!
  4. I've got a similar build going except mines a ford. you're off to a great start
  5. I thought that was you. I have a few ideas still kickin around my first idea was a 57 nomad but it didn't work however my next go will be brilliant.any more and I'll have to kill you!also post some of your finished builds in the under glass section.
  6. Riz your driver will most likely be the most comfortable looks like you have alot of room for all kinds of weaponry.good luck
  7. try priming the body with a sealing primer or just go with the evercoat.
  8. If you put this one next to a stock new beetle which one would be taller ?
  9. Dave you never fail to deliver the goods. I also like the early 'birds and have one on the docket very similar to yours except mine will likely be red.As an aside I've always liked the Hot Wheels T-bird
  10. talk about a no brainer . this one was made for you but let's see your own color scheme. good luck!
  11. nice work . I think you have made some great improvements and brought them all together nicely.also overall I enjoy your paint jobs on this and the others you have posted.keep it up.
  12. I picked one up at my LHS. I've not seen the original however I have to say that this kit is pretty nice I thought it would be like the infini t or stingaree but it's based on a front engine rail chassis and the body is pretty cool looking .The packaging is what got my attention the bottom of the box shows you the contents the sides of the bottom box has digger printed on it the art is just that on the front no words just the picture and it is a pretty sturdy box the decals are in their own plastic as are the three windshields I didn't take pictures because I didn't open the bags yet so if you open yours post some pics.and instead of paying 20-25 dollars for a vintage repop it was only 14.99. if this is an indication of what will be coming from the new amt/mpc we are in for a treat.also I noticed the polar lights speed racer cars are out also.oh yeah there is also a small surprise in the box too but I'll let you discover that yourself.
  13. I think the white primer is still showing on the chassis but the color scheme on top looks great! it totally looks like a real cat.

I like the front mounted blower and overall build .how would it look with current style wheels?
  15. I like the idea and the colors. painting can be a mysterious monster there are so many variables that it is hard to know what went wrong perhaps the bottom layers of paint weren't completely dried or perhaps the top coat was too thick sometimes you can add coats right away but if you wait too long between coats the paint has started gassing out and you have to wait a couple of days (or weeks)before you add more paint .there should be directions for use on the can it helps to read those from time to time because we tend to forget how some paints are supposed to be used.good luck keep having fun!
  16. I love it but some how I think I should still get an apology.
  17. I was just thinking to myself I like those unusual colors that you see very often great job in confirming what i was thinking love the color and a great job making it look just like the real thing!
