  1. I average 1-2 hours a night after supper.
  2. I live in a town with a pop. of 600 & I wouldn't park it an alley behind buildings here let alone a big city like LA.
  3. My Brother got me this for $5.00. It's still sealed, has no bar code & the Kmart sticker says $2.67. Could anyone give me some info on this model? How old is It?
  4. has not set their status

  5. Here's something a little different. I never heard of this company until recently. They've got a few models I'll be getting in the future.
  6. You're welcome to use any of mine.
  7. Were supposed to get 6-10" starting tonight here in Northeast Indiana.
  8. I stopped at our local Big R store ( department type store ) to pick up a few things & decided to just look through their toy department. After two aisles of diecasts I'm ready to leave, that is, until I get about 1/4 way down the aisle. Unbelievably, the whole rest of the aisle was filled with scale models. Dozens of cars, trucks, planes, especially cars. All kinds of Testors bottle & spray paint. The manager told me they were trying them out to see how they sell. I let him know definetely has my business. This is a blessing. My nearest Hobby shop is in Ft. Wayne, a 90 mile round trip.
  9. My Mom stopped at a rummage yesterday & picked these up for me. Still sealed. What a Mom!
  10. I registered a couple weeks ago & got my Hemi in less than a week. There was no charge.
  11. Just south of Pierceton, about 45 miles west of Ft. Wayne.
  12. I just signed up with no problems & on my way to possibly my first deal.
  13. What a shame! I've owned quite a few Pontiacs through the years. 65 GTO conv, '67 Grand Prix conv., '62 & '63 Bonneville convs, '73 Grand Am & even a '60 Catalina.
  14. I use the Novus foam sanding pads. They usually come in sets of 6 pads. Grits start a lot finer, though, than you're looking for. They start at 2400, ending at 12000.
  15. I also would love to see a '62 Starfire Convertible come out. I owned one of these back in 1972. Junked it because the trnsmission went bad. What I'd give to own that car now.
  16. I'm to old for the wild parties myself. In fact I'll be in bed by 9:00 since I have to be to work at 4:30 New Years morning.
  17. I got a nice watch, some clothes & a very nice 18volt Craftsman cordless drill. Hobby wise, I got Revells Gambler Custom Chopper & Ferrari Super America. I also got some paint.
  18. I spend an hour or two each evening starting around 5:30- 6:00. I work 6 days a week so I don't find a whole lot of extra time for modeling.
  19. I built models as a kid from 1966-70 & then lost interest as a teenager. I didn't restart the hobby until 1992 when my Brother found a '32 Ford model at a rummage for a quarter & thought I might like to build it for old times sake. That model restarted the love I had for modeling as a kid & I haven't stopped since.
  20. Here's my latest. I've been looking forwards to building this. I painted it Colors by Boyd Pacific Blue & gloss black.
  21. Thanks Steve! That's the model. I was hoping it would be more detailed but I think I'll go ahead & order it anyway.
  22. I'm thinking of ordering one of these since I owned a 1:1 years ago. Does anyone know how detailed this kit is? Does it come with an engine? How detailed is the chassis & interior? I'm not to familiar with Fujimi's kits.
  23. Back in 1975 a freind of mine bought the local funeral homes 1964 Caddy hearse for $100.00. I wish I had pictures of that thing. He put Cragers on it, had flames painted on it & "nightmare" painted on the rear side windows. We drove it down to Daytona Beach, Florida in '76 & it definetely got a lot of attention. He got married a couple years later & his Wife made him get rid of it.
