We've got 6" of snow on the ground as of now. Another 7 - 11' is supposed to drop by Monday morning. On top of that it's supposed to get to -16 tomorrow night & a balmy high of -7 on Monday.

No stitches for me "yet", although, mighty close. I was wearing shorts one night & dropped both the handle & blade. It went straight down & landed straight up in my right thigh, a little over an inch away from what would have been a whole lot more than pain .

The weather. We have around 6" of snow on the ground & with temps. nearing 40F today, It's all melting so everything is one big slushy mess to walk or drive in.

A beautiful job. I owned one of these about 15 years ago. Mine was a 1990.

In 2007 our house went into foreclosure because of major cuts to my hours at work. I was so upset I took almost everyone of my 100+ models I had built, busted them up & threw them in the trash. My Wife wasn't to happy with me since She was sure everything would work out for us & I'd regret it. She was right. My hours went back up & we didn't lose the house & I sure do regret tossing all those models.

Waking up this morning with what feels like the flu. Miserable all day. Today, being my birthday, my wife had plans for a small family get together. That's shot.

I'm head of maintenance & set up at a major Hotel.

I just got Mat Irvine's Scale car modeling the other day. Lots of good articles & lot's of pictures..

After looking at the pictures I have to agree the foil job leaves something to be desired. Pictures do seem to magnify any & all mistakes. Thanks for all the kudos & I appreciate the suggestions.

I really enjoyed building this one. I liked those colors on the box so much I decided to paint it the same.

My Brother worked with a woman who hit a deer & it came through the windshield still kicking. She ended up in the Hospital with life threatening injuries & almost died. I'm lucky mines so minor.

I was heading to work at 5:00 this morning & had a deer run in front of me & I got him with the right front corner of my truck. The deer survived & ran off. My poor truck got the worst of it as you can see. And to think I decided to splurge & put new fenders on it just a couple months ago since my old ones were rusty & they weren't cheap, especially after having them painted. Unfortunately I don't have collision on my insurance so I get to foot the bill on this one. At least all the bolts & screws will come off easy since I had the fender off so recently.

I had a subscription from the early 90's until it ended. They also came out with a '56 Ford Victoria . I've still got it put away & haven't built it yet.

I haven't done the Corvette but I did do Arii's '58 Eldorado. A nice model with a little work. The weak spot was the window frame. I broke it in three pieces because it was so flimsy& had to piece it back together.. Still, a neat model that you don't normally find.

My Mom had a '55 Olds 98 Starfire convertible back in the late 50's - early 60's. I was a little kid when She traded it in 1961. Now it would be worth a small fortune. What I'd give to have that car now.
