  1. The later AJ6 (1984-up) cam covers probably don't fit the earlier engines
  2. I saw a similar set by Craftsman at Lowe's earlier this evening for 30 bucks.
  3. Sometimes they are referred to as cotter pin pullers. I have a Craftsman one I purchased at Sears several years ago.
  4. The Fiestas we got in the US had the 1600cc "Cortina" engine and were a lot of fun to drive. I drove a couple as loaner cars and really enjoyed the experience. Cool styling too.
  5. One of my current projects is a build using the original Nova wagon body. The 66 Nova chassis and engine compartment fits the wagon pretty well. The wagon's interior bucket does not fit on the 66 floor pan. I am using a combination of the 66 interior, along with part of a 65 Chevelle wagon interior in my build.

    AMT 69 Cougar

Nice job on that build. Several years ago I built a replica of my friend's 69 428CJ Cougar XR 7. It was the burgundy color, with a black vinyl top and interior. I found that Tamiya Maroon spray was a close match for the factory color. My yellow 69 XR 7:
  7. I met Tom West a couple of years before he passed away. He brought a lot of cool stuff to show off at our club meetings. On one occasion he brought notebooks full of drawings for the Accurate Miniatures Grand Sport Corvette and McLarens. Incredible stuff.
  8. 700 HP Charger with a 50 HP driver.
  9. Yes. Pretty cool. I have had a couple of Pintos in the fleet. A red 76 Runabout and a white 73 wagon with a 2300 swap. The wagon looked like a half-size version of my 72 Montego Villager. Same colors inside and out.
  10. You could get a 2.8 V6 in those but I was wondering if it is a V8 swap because of the 5-lug spindles/axles.
  11. Yellow Lamborghini Urus in the IKEA parking lot.
  12. Wonder what's under the hood of that Bobcat. 5-lug wheels indicate there have been some modifications.
  13. Then there was Pippa Garner's 59 Chevy....
  14. White 67 Impala 2-door in the local Target parking lot.
  15. Some of the worst plastic I have seen is the root beer brown that one issue of the Revell 56 F100 was molded in. I have one and the cab broke apart in the box between the time I purchased the kit and when I decided to start to work on it.
  16. Pretty sure that will work for 61-66 Thunderbirds. I have an original 63 Thunderbird and the custom parts for it fit well on the "new tool" 62.
  17. By 1975 they would be low-back with a separate headrest.
  18. Giugiaro had nothing to do with the Fiat 124. There is a resemblance to the VW Dasher.
  19. Remember Academy also produced a kit of the Hyundai Stellar. Both the Pony and Stellar were designed by Giugiaro.
  20. On Sunday I saw a really nice 61 Cadillac Coupe deVille. it was stunning.
  21. I purchased the Reliable 70 AMX. It's a pretty good casting. Bumpers are not chromed. It arrived pretty quickly after the auction ended.
