  1. I saw a full page ad for Revell paint in some magazine I received the other day.
  2. I want to go to a Toyota dealer and ask for a Camry that sounds lust like the one in the commercials. That V8 sounds good!
  3. So frustrating to watch just about any car-related show. "Experts" that don't know squat.
  4. I have checked as I am in process of building a 63 Nova Wagon. The 66 chassis works but needs some sanding around and behind the rear wheel wells and maybe some clearancing to work with the wagon interior.
  5. The narrator was explaining that no fuel was getting to the throttle body on a car where they were installing an aftermarket fuel injection system. Said no fuel was getting to the throttle body when there are clearly fuel rails and injectors in the intake runners.
  6. And they show "DeLorean" tearing around in a Buick.
  7. When a car in a chase hits a parked car and goes flying.
  8. 62 Thunderbird hardtop on Angeles Crest Highway.
  9. One of my favorites: Using a car door as a shield in a gun battle.
  10. My guess is that a 67 had never been done before. And to rile up the cult of 68 Coronet.
  11. Early episodes I guess where they used the Manta kit cars.
  12. Revell should revise the tool and make a 66 Coronet..
  13. In "Hardcastle and McCormick" the Coyote changes from 4-lug to 5-lug wheels from one scene to another. In "The Brady Bunch Movie" interior of the 72 Montego wagon changes from one shot too another when Greg and Marsha are stopped by the police.
  14. In Ford V Ferrari there is a 66 Galaxie in the background of a few scenes that take place before 1966.
  15. Even at the best judged model car shows where craftsmanship is supposed to be at its highest, there are many entries with mold lines, ejector pin marks, copyright information left on, etc, etc. I have seen judges sigh and put down models that look great on the surface but the chassis detail is sorely lacking and poorly finished. The y end up giving awards to "the best of the worst".
  16. Way too much overthinking here. Just glue 'em up and go.
  17. Michael has attended and sold his products at shows in Southern California. He will be at Spirit of Speed show in Pomona in November. Are you thinking of SoCal NNL? NNL West is in Santa Clara.
  18. I have supplied Michael with various kit dashes so he could produce gauge faces and get them the proper size on a few occasions, so there is a good possibility you could do that. All he needs is a kit dash and a good image of the gauge faces for that particular car.
  19. I have a turn signal lens if you need.
  20. I was also going to say there are alternatives on the MCG PE set. Plus you get a paper copy of the grille to practice folding so you can get the angles right.
  21. 65 Mercury was available as a kit and as a promo. One-year-only annual so there have been no reissues. They occasionally pop up on eBay and can be pricey.
  22. Who wants to bet AMT never made the wheelbase adjustment?
  23. Bill, the rear glass on those Impalas/Caprices was not welded. There was a rod cast into the class. An electric current was passed through the rod, causing it and the glass to heat up. The glass was then bent and allowed to cool.
  24. What's ironic is I paid more than twice as much for this resin kit than I did for a running, Full-size 66 Country Sedan back in 1978 or so,
