I was wondering if there are any others out there like me that feel the right wheels really make the model? I really like the look of the Magnum 500 wheels on a 69 or 70 Mustang or Torino but I have not seen any in a kit yet that look correct. They are usually too shallow, wrong diameter or something. Before I go and machine one on the lathe, I thought I would double check to see if a correct looking one exists in either plastic or resin.

A cop is driving along and comes up behind a car that is driving irratically. First the car swervers to the left, then the car swerves to the right, then back to the left, then back to the right. The cop is wondering what in the world is this driver doing and pulls the car over. When the cop gets to the door he sees a very frustrated blonde sitting there gripping the steering wheel very tightly. The cop asks her, what seems to be the problem mam? The blonde says, well, I was driving along and my purse fell over and I leaned over to pick it up and when I sat back up there was a tree so I swerved to the left and there was another tree! So I swerved to right! And then there was...........The cop stops her and says, mam, thats your air freshener. A blonde cop is shooting radar when another blonde drives by very fast. The blonde cop takes off after her and pulls her over. The blonde cop walks up to the door and says, mam you were speeding, i'll need to see your license! The blonde driver digs in her purse and pulls out her social security card and hands it to the blonde cop. The cops says, no mam, this is your social security card, I need your license. The blonde digs in her purse some more and pulls out her library card and hands it to the cop. The cop says, no mam, this is your library card, I need your license, it's about the same size as this and it has your picture on it. The blonde digs around in her purse some more stops, giggles and says "found it". She hands over a mirrored compact to the blonde cop. The blonde cop looks at it and says, oh, i'm sorry mam, I didn't know you were an officer!

Does anyone know who is casting them now? I was pretty disappointed with the T2000 I bought from him when he first announced these kits years ago!!!!!!! I had every intention of buying two of each model but after getting that T2000 and seeing the quality of the castings, I changed my mind! For the price that is being asked, the quality should be right on par with Kit Form Services which is in the same price range but KFS has much, much better castings!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad your wanting a 1/24 LTL long hood (LN is the short hood). I am currently working on a 1976 LTL 9000 long hood that will have a seperate grill surround as well as the grille itself. I can send you some pictures if you want to email me. I tried putting them in this message but it keeps saying that the file is too big.

Hello all, i'm sure this has been posted on here before and i'm sorry to ask again but the posts i've found don't pertain to my situation. I have a Sony MVC-FD7 10X Mavica digital camera but it does not have a USB port or any capabilities to download pics directly into the computer. I have to remove the disc and place it in the tower to download the pics. I then save them to my "pictures" files. I do have a Picturetrail photo site as well but i'm not sure how to send pictures from there to here? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! And please, speak sloooowly and don't get to technical! LOL Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could but i'm hoping theres a decal set out there that has them. See, I have this problem.............i'm lazy! LOL I just know that I'd lay down a good silver paint job and then mess it up trying to make the stripes perfect! They go all the way from the ground at the front, up over the car, all the way down to the bottom on the rear valance sotheres lots of curves and dips that would be tricky to tape properly.

That's cool. I thought they might be a "one off" type thing. Truck wheels are my specialty. I have machined many masters of different types of wheels and had them cast into resin. I had Robert Bently at RB Motion custom machine me some acorn lug nuts to use on certain wheels and I use his regular machined aluminum "bolt heads" with the stud sticking outwards for my "plain" wheel masters. I actually have 1/24 machined aluminum Alcoas that were made by a guy named Bill Drennen years ago. They're super hard to find now but soooooo cool when you polish them up! I just scored another set of real aluminum ten holes that are made in England. They're nice but they don't represent an Alcoa perfectly. I'm working with a guy in Alabama right now that knos a dud with full CNC machining capabilities. This guy said that if we could come up with some CADD drawings of the wheels, he would be willing to make them for us. I am really wantig to have the "Peterbilt" style wheels made. Those would be sweeet! If you would like to check out my work and my collection, go to: www.picturetrail.com/lotso Theres an album titled "wheels I make", might be "model truck wheels", can't remember? LOL

Does anyone else here have the resin transkit of the Eleanor Mustang from Scale Reproductions? I am looking for the decals of the two black stripes that go over the top, center of the hood, roof, trunk, etc. The kit comes with the lower black stripes with the "GT500" in them but no stripes for the top side? I bought the AMT 67 GT350 Mustang to use as the donor kit and it does come with the stripes but they're white. I need them in black. If someone knows of some aftermarket decals that would work, that would be great! Thanks!
