  1. Thanks Steve and Terry. I'm really hooked on the Tru-Color paints.
  2. Finished my '69 Barracuda today. Engine wired & plumbed. Paint is Tru-Color inferno orange with a couple coats of Nason urethane clear.
  3. Thanks Bob and Perry.
  4. Gorgeous hot rod.
  5. OMG. It's beautiful!! I just love the SHINY and everything about it.
  6. Thanks Dale.
  7. Very cool. My very first car was a '56 2 door post.
  8. Very nice.
  9. Thank you Ray, Jim, and Anders.
  10. I've never paid more than $8 for a kit at a swap meet/show.
  11. Thanks Mike. I have chrome rivets (portholes) but wanted a contrast with the copper.
  12. Good looking 55.
  13. Looking good.
  14. Thanks Chris and Matthew. '70 is my favorite year.
  15. Thanks Rob. If I were the type, it would have been a rusty/crusty finish.
  16. Completed this puppy a couple of days ago and used Tru-Color cobalt blue with a couple coats of Tamiya clear pearl over everything. Cab, box, and front have been lowered. I believe the nose is from a '36 Ford kit. Engine is from the parts box. Exhaust is made from aluminum rod.
  17. Thanks Gene. I love those '70 RRs. Three more in the stash.
  18. Thanks Bob.
  19. Thank you Carl, James, Dann, Christopher, Marty, and Tom.
  20. Thank you Ray, Cliff, Janne, Steve, Anders, Nick, and Atin. Drill bits are round, Ray, and I wanted oval like the original pipes. Washer bottle is painted flat white and then flat blue for the fluid. Radiator overflow is flat white and flat zinc chromate. The bottle in front of the windshield washer bottle was molded into the fender, Nick.
  21. Thanks Hugh.
  22. Thanks Ray and Keith. I was thinking maybe a screwdriver, ray, but I'll look at the files I have too. Thanks for the tip.
