I've been known to contact an ebay seller when I think shipping is excessive and request better pricing. Sometimes it's reduced and i buy, sometimes not and I don't buy.

Place I worked bought some swans to chase away the geese. It worked too.

I've never lived in an apartment but that sure sounds expensive. Last time I was in Manhattan we went o the original Ferrara's bakery. It was excellent.
