  1. I use Rustoleum texture paint for undercoating. Comes in 4 or 5 colors. Looks really good to me doing the chassis when there's separate frame rails.
  2. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
  3. Iwata or nothing. I have use an HP-C for small jobs, and I have 2 HP-TH. One is for color and the other for just clear. The HP-C was a freebie from a dealer and I bought the HP-TH online, probably ebay. They came straight from Japan and I got them pretty cheap.
  4. Irma knocked down some trees and took out our power for 6 days. AT&T shut down their cell phones for 3 days. Otherwise we did OK There was just a story on the news last night about power restoration companies leaving PR because the PR power company won't sign contracts. There were horror stories that all the trucks coming in by boat couldn't leave the dock area because a PR truck driver union strike. Hang in there - it can only get better.

  8. I'm loving this puppy, especially what you did around the antennas and taillights. SHINY too!
  9. That's terrible, Rob. My body doesn't like the cold anymore.
  10. I've used it on HOK, Tamiya, Tru-Color, and Gravity paint with no issues.
  11. I get Nason 2 part urethane clear from O'Reilly Auto Parts. I used the Gravity clear once and it was nice but had too much waste. With Nason, I can mix the amount I need.
  12. Coast Airbrush
  13. I'm liking the SHINY

  15. Sorry. I think I was having a senior moment.
  16. Looking good. Mine is in final assembly.
  17. Super details. Very nice. I remember those funky roofs.
  18. I agree 110% David.
  19. Were the boxes sealed?
  20. Rolling wheel don't matter at a show. The judges shouldn't be touching your build unless it's very close between 2 builds.
