    Landing in Phoenix and going right up to Sedona and staying there. we rode out to Arizona Bike Week in late April 2000. Had to buy a long sleeve T-shirt the 2nd day in AZ for sunburned arms. Sure didn’t take long to cook us Chicago boys.

    I’ve been re-spooling my weed wacker for many years. Much cheaper than store bought and it only takes a couple of minutes.

    We're looking at May so it's warmer. I looked the Desert Classic and mentioned it to her. She gave me "the look". There's a train out of Williams and some Camp Verde or Verde Canyon train and we're looking at both.

    I have a drawer full of small containers. Never know when you'll find something that will need a container. My Veterans group bought a 18' x 30' canopy with sides and all the pipe is nut & bolted together. Luckily I had containers to hold bolts and another for the nuts.

    Yes. Sky Harbor. Right now it’s looking like getting to AZ on May 11 and staying for 8-10 days.

    Planning to land in Phoenix and get transported to Sedona. We don't plan on renting a car.

    Thanks John. Mirrors are from the kit. I just drilled a hole in each door and glued them in. The brackets that the kit said glue to the door sheet metal were put in the parts bin.

    Thanks Christopher. Can't really see it, but the kit chrome step plates on the front of the box have holes in them to glue the exhaust stacks. I made pieces from Evergreen.

    I never would have thought of putting a VW engine in a Cobra. Very imaginative, Ray. Aren't you happy you quit building? LOL

    Surprise used to be a small town when I I was there in 2000. Checked the census and it’s grown. Too big now and off the list. Got an email int to Pink Jeeps. I’ll check on Caravan Tours tomorrow. Thanks for the info guys.

    Marcia wants to take a trip to Sedona AZ in May 2018. We'd like to do the south rim and red rock. Would like to do a day trip to Jerome maybe another trip to Surprise. Any recommendations from you AZ locals?
