  1. Beater for sure. Some people people will probably call it a rat machine. Nice work.
  2. Your build suits your handle - it is sick! Gorgeous and it's SHINY :)
  3. And where have you been, Dr. Cranky?
  4. Not really. After you have a few bottles it's very easy to just put any new ones in the proper order.
  5. Nice looking build and SHINY :)
  6. Exactly, Eelco. And now I must part. It's Friday night - time for pizza, popcorn, and WWE Friday Night Smackdown.
  7. If it's free - it's for me!! Here's a tip - whenever I open a new bottle of paint, I dab a spot of the color on the cap. I also organize my paint by the part number.
  8. Thanks Fatkidd. Appreciate the paint comments from a master such as yourself. I'll never catch up to your level of painting, but I'm having fun trying to get there.
  9. Nice haul. All I got was a backache from putting up the Christmas decorations.
  10. Buy ignition wire from Scale Dreams or online for computer board wire. I forget the name of the wire right now but there's a Oriental type person in CA selling it on ebay in a bunch of colors. Scale Dreams also sells PE wire looms. You can make the rubber boots from telephone wire (I prefer AT&T wire) by stripping the insulation (rubber boot) from the copper wire. There was also a post about a missing dizzy that was excellent - Evergreen rod with half round glued to the rod and drill 9 holes (for a V8). I'd give you the post but searching this forum is not my forte. You could also take the kit distributor, drill it out, super glue the wires in, or, get some aluminum tubing in a couple of sizes and make your own. I would never waste my money on pre-made distributors (sorry manufacturers).
  11. Looks like a great time and some excellent builds. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Could you imagine the builds if kits were made of candy?
  13. Welcome Jamie. I don't build big rigs, but those are some fine builds you have there.
  14. Bummer. They have some really neat colors for interiors.
  15. Thanks guys. If Harry looks, he'll see that the alternator has a bracket and is not "floating". The belt was made from Tamiya masking tape doubled over and hit with a black marker.
  16. Your work never ceases to amaze me, Peter. Could you make removable panels? Maybe clear panels? A pity to cover all that detail, but at least you have pics.
  17. Ooooooooohhhhhh! Paul you used the "s" word. Sunny and 70 right now going to 78. Christmas decorations are going up.
  18. Interesting build and I keep watching. Be careful building.
  19. Nice details and incredible paint. You know I love SHINY :)
  20. Wasn't Rom promoted to Moderator? How can he moderate without a computer? A most excellent builder, for sure, but he was taking some heat from a post and then disappeared. Hope he's OK and returns soon.
  21. Yeah, Rob. Getting there. Foiling wasn't so bad, was it? Looks good.
  22. Thank you, thank you. This was a fun build. I thought I'd turn the license plate recess just for kicks.
  23. Thanks, Sam. I think I should have painted the inside of the exhaust light yellow. Next time. Time to do the turkey. We cheated this year and bought thick sliced turkey from the deli. Cooking a whole bird doesn't make sense for just the 2 of us. Hope you have a great day/night. I'm outta here until tomorrow morning.
  24. Kind of like me, Danno. . Thanks.
