  1. I was able to pick up some promo models yesterday. That's 1971 Duster I believe, 1950 Nash, and I don't know the year of the Chrysler. The Duster and Nash are available for trade if anyone is interested. They've already been offered in a pending trade I have going on.
  2. Here's a couple more pics of my Citrus Coupe. Bob - All I did for the taillight was to cutout the area and sand it down. I tried the bevel the edges. The actual taillight is clear acetate painted with a couple coats of Testor's metallic stop light red. After drying, I put a piece of BMF over the paint and used Micro Krystal Klear to glue it in.
  3. The frame is painted cream and suspension components are mango. Both colors are used in the interior and engine. I like tying my colors together like that. I get more pics later today. Thank you for the postive replies. I only saw Natalya at O'Hare airport once and got a pic with her. I've tried sending her the pic to autograph but got no reply. Maybe she doesn't like me.
  4. Thank you, guys. I don't ahve more pics, Mike. What other pics could I take?
  5. Thanks fellas. No doubt that this is my best build since 1958.
  6. I had one of those feet just a couple of weeks ago and now I can't find it. I was going to cast it. I'll keep looking.
  7. Holy cow! Thank you fellas. Believe it or not, the little shiny pieces on the heater & AC hoses are necklace bead things. I found them in 4 sizes at Hobby Lobby. I refuse to pay the too high price for scale AN fittings.
  8. Terrific news, Highway. Good luck. Today the mailman delivered a front & rear tire for a Revell 1/12 bike I ordered. They were free from Revell. I thought I had a "Gambler" but it's not. The oil tanks are completely different, so I don't know what I have.
  9. Will do. Meetings are planned for the 1st Saturday of every month at 10:00am. Hope everything is OK with your family.
  10. I'm liking it very much.
  11. Thank you all very much. It's a wonderful kit except for the interior. I prefer an interior tub where 1 unit slides up into the body. On this kit you glue the door panels & dashboard in and then the floor board, seats, and truck seperator.
  12. Thanks Luis. A Ferrari engine might have been nice in it.
  13. Photobucket issue? I don't understand that.
  14. Did it work for you? WHo knows why right click paste doesn't work anymore on the forum. Sounds like progress, right?
  15. Me too. When you click on the bottom box in Photobucket does it change to "copied"? Mine did. When you then go over to post on the forum and right click "paste" it not available? I was advised to poke "control v" to paste to the forum. It works.
  16. I saw that warning and noticed the Paasche unit doesn't have lights. Those, and an excellent reputation, are why I ordered a Pace unit. Should be here Monday or Tuesday.
  17. WOW. I really appreciate the positive comments, guys.
  18. Yes it was, Brian, and thank you. Didn't even think of that. You planning on coming to the model car club meeting tomorrow morning at the Hobby Lobby up in Ocala? 10:00am.
  19. It looks really good, Felix. I'm sure he'd be happy with it.
  20. Dropkick Murphy is a band? I'm still into the Beachboys.

Oh yeah, Brett. Are those PH Dzus fasteners on the hood? What did you use around the glass? Love the purple.
  22. Very different, Don, but pretty interesting. No brakes, no clutch, no throttle control - no thanks. Hope to see you tomorrow.
  23. Looks good.
  24. Hey thanks, Neal. That's 53 years of practice to finally get one right. Plan on seeing you tomorrow morning.
  25. Thank you, Brett. Probably my best ever build.
