  1. Movin' right along there, Don. Looking good.
  2. Problem here? I don't know. Mistake made? Don't know. How about everybody kiss and make up and get back to building?
  3. Beep, beep. Looks good. Love the color.
  4. Good lookin' build.
  5. Oh yeah! Nice build. A cousin of mine had a '67 427/435 Vette. He let me drive it once and I had a very difficult time trying not to spin the rear tires. Same set up as your build except he had the outside exhaust pipes.
  6. Pics are kind of dark, but I like what I can see. Pretty neat with the clear cover in the trunk. Did you decant the paint? I'm almost ready to shoot a '40 Ford dedan delivery with the blue/purple paint.

I like SHINY! Like others, I'd like to hear your paint process and how you did the center stripe.
  8. I either missed it or ignored a bash about one of the finest builders on this forum. It was probably jealously, John. Don't lose sleep over it.
  9. That's great news, Johnny. Sure hope she continues to improve.
  10. Lookin' good, Hertsi.
  11. Hey Don - the heat/humidity in the 'Nam might have been the reason for going from 196 lbs to 135 lbs in less than 8 months. Now it seems like the heat/humidity adds weight to my old body.
  12. Been low 90s for the past couple of weeks, little bit of rain, low 90s for at least the next week and very little rain. The last couple of mornings were 65 and I almost needed to put on my flannel shirt.
  13. Most excellent build, Cruz. It's purple and it's SHINY! How could anyone go wrong with that combination?
  14. Thank you Alyn. I'm going to save the pics in my archives.
  15. I order MCG stuff from Rick at Scale Dreams because out of state I don't pay sales tax and Ricks shipping charges are cheaper than MCG. I just recieved an order from Rick and then found out MCG was having a 20% off sale. That would have negated the sales tax and high shipping costs.
  16. The gas coupe with the injection stacks out the hood sounds great! That off white street machine is looking real nice too. Neither Wal-Mart I went to doesn't have the Studebaker. I think I'll grab one of the other Johnny Lightning cars and ask them to order one or 2 for me. I tried Wal-Mart online and couldn't find them there either.
  17. That is some paint job. Looks very excellent.
  18. The cart and the truck look excellent. I'll have to look closer at the cart to try and duplicate it.
  19. Holy cow, Neal - it's not a rat! Looks real nice. What did you use for the taillights? Thanks for the Crazy Scale Auto Parts plug.
  20. I never heard of this car but I like it. The diamond plate in the footwells is a nice touch.
  21. Looks nice and SHINY! What did Martha Stewart do? Are the seats a decal?
  22. I'm liking your build, Justin. The color looks good and it's SHINY. What color is that? The seats are very nice. I've never used decals on seats. Do they come cut or just on a sheet? To further enhance the interior, have you considered using washes on the gauges, radio, etc.? The rear window looks tinted. How did you accomplish that feat?
  23. I don't have a reason - I just like to build - and been building them since 1958.
  24. Faster, Don, faster. We need to see this thing completed. Hope to see you and this build at the model car/truck club forming meeting on Agust 6, 2011 at the Hobby Lobby in Ocala (SR200). Meeting starts at 10:00am. (Couldn't resist trying to get a plug in here for the club).
  25. Congratulations, Keith & Mary. Enjoy your life together.
