eModelCars.com Updates and Changes
Gregg replied to Gregg's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It's so nice and clean and simple And I can even post using Safari without having to switch to Firefox. And the templates are great. If you see any categories that should be added, or changed, let me know. And I was just ready to dump thousands into this site for new software/programing. Did anyone do a final sale yet through PayPal? I want to see if that redirect works. -

Mustang Makeover Contest
Gregg replied to Gregg's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Heh, I just finished my show here, give me a break. I am sending a new pic for them, that's the first one I saw on desktop. My friend has a pro video company here Hopefully he can do the video segments for me. Should be fun!!! Thanks guys! -
Guys, my friend John Oszajca got me involved in a Mustang Makeover Contest online with California Pony Cars. There are ten finalists, and your humble editor is one of them. So now, it's time to vote (for your favorite editor, I hope). Vote for your favorite Mustang Owner There will be a series of videos and such we will all have to do. But, if you cast your votes early, it may sweeten up the competition. I know, shameless plugs. No fair voting for the pretty ones though!

I love being the boss. I can post to a thread even after it's been locked. Now, y'all, go grab a model kit and build!!! I wish I had the time to, and with all the collective time that I have seen spent here on this "topic," I could have built a GSL-winning model! NOW GET BACK TO BUILDING!!!! And Mr. Morton, I wish I had a tape recorder on that cold day in Atlanta a few months ago. That was priceless..... Love yah guys!

Thanks for locking this thread. I have also deleted all posts with offensive pictures in them. Anyone who posts such pictures like that will be put on notice and may be banned. I have nothing against those type of photos, in your own space, but this is my forum, and I will not allow them here. I am not a fuddy duddy, those are just some rules I hope all you all respect. As for the thread, I guess I missed the boat on this one.....

Our good friend Anthony Rios took home the coveted Best Of Show award today here in Santa Clara NNL West for his 1/16 Chevrolet Nomad. Way to go, mi pana! John Teresi took home the Model Cars Magazine award for his incredible Bonneville Salt Flat Land Speed Record motorcycle streamliner replica of his father's real "bike." Check out the photos of EVERY SINGLE MODEL on the tables at the NNL West at NNL West Photos The files are being updated now from the hotel, so bear with me if the links are not complete. It's late, past midnite here, and I am getting tired. It was a great show, over a thousand models on the tables, over 400 people through the doors. Thanks so much to the NNL West staff, thanks to Darryl Gassaway who spent the whole day shooting all the great models at the show, John Oszajca for helping with the models and selling the t-shirts, Jim Keeler for being our special guest at the show, and of course, Kelly for putting up with all us crazy model builders.

As soon as I get them this weekend from the show, they will go up online. Jairus will be doing the mainland ordering/mailing. A big mahalo to him for doing this. John Oszajca will hopefully be taking care of the hats, jackets, and other embroidered orders from Vegas. Magazine binders are next, with decals coming soon. I will sit back and watch the millions pour in..... I wish.......
