  1. I started a new Shutterfly account (I hope that is the one you were referring to), and could not find any link to share the photos to an outside source. Okay, that didn't work.
  2. Thanks, Guys. Yes, I am the king of unfinished models! Well, the Big Kahuna, at least. I have so many more to start, and hopefully finish. Rick, BYTE ME!!!! I finished the Merc, but the roof got Scooby Dooed from a paper towel used to pack it with. I stripped it, going to repaint it. I want to try something different on this one. I just got the Modelhaus '49 Merc with '53 Buick side trim and Desotto grille, see if I can graft on the roof of Ariel's wagon. That would be too cool!!! And more Willys projects My '69 and '65 El Camino's 65 Chevy truck Belly Tanker Mustang 08 Convertible Mustang 06 Convertible new Camaro wagon Camaro street machine (black and a blue one) Jimmy's resin wagons (will post on reviews soon) Mill City Replica COE 38 Ford and 40 Ford
  3. Yes, it's time once again to vote for your favorite Mustang owner (hint, hint, wink, wink). Vote for your favorite Mustang Owner I appreciate all the support on this guys.
  4. The Willys is from our friends at Flash Point Motorsports. I did a review on Terry's bodies a while ago. The Ford is from Jimmy Flintstone, I think. And yes, I build. I did have the cover of Car Modeler back in the early '90s with my VW Corrado Pro Stock
  5. I took a detour this weekend, had to get my fingers dirty. Some projects I started:
  6. Peter, I saw your builds at NNL East. Simple? NO WAY JOSE!!! Incredible is more like it. sorry, off topic, ban the hater......
  7. Donnie, I do like this idea. I know, I'm not supposed to quote, but I'm da boss, right?
  8. As the title says, use this thread for posting ideas, in a logical order, for the threads/categories/topics you would like to see added/changed. Thanks. Keep it simple, and don't quote replies. Just give your two cents.
  9. I just started a Pickups section in Model Trucks.
  10. With all the recent infestations of malignant posts and threads on the forum, and the haters that went with it, I received some disturbing PM's on the treatment on "others" are getting on the forum, and why some people are treated different than others. I don't treat anyone special, well, except for myself, of course. I have a lot of patience with everyone, it's the basic island way of life. I do step in and cut the line, so to speak, when it is absolutely necessary. You can even see this in the content of the magazine. We do not have a heavy hand in the editing of the pieces that come in to MCM. Basically, what you see is what you get. I am not going to change someone's words around because of some obscure reason. I will edit for errors, and spelling mistakes, but that's about it. Same for the forum. You get the axe when you stir up trouble with EVERYONE. If you have an issue with someone, use the good ol' Iggy feature on the forum: IGNORE THEM. As for PM's and emails, no I don't respond to every single whine and complaint. I will look into something, and act accordingly. A lot of times I get the messages through the BlackBerry, and I make notes to follow up later. I work 110 hours a week (at least), and I don't have the luxury of being able to sit in front of the computer and babysit everyone. If you have a problem with someone, or something, we have moderators here who can address most, if not all issues. If there is something they think should be taken care of immediately, they will let me know. Okay, I pau. Back to watching reruns of Lucy
  11. I picked up one of the old old old Art Anderson AAR Blazer bodies this past year in Pomona, and it will be used to make the Typhoon.
  12. Very well done. And your photos are fantastic!!!! Thank you for sharing.
  13. Rick, thank you for bringing new life to one of my favorite scales. I am here to help in any way I can. Mahalo nui loa....
  14. I changed it back, clicked wrong button which made it default, so pocho, my fault
  15. Sorry, I clicked off Comfy as default It's the one I like, sorry. Default is back to IP Board. I will upload other skins as time allows.
  16. Okay, now there are two Chat Rooms. One on the original first post, and another integrated here into the Forum. If you look above, at the header menu bar, there is a "Chat" link. This is the software from the forum software company. It can take up to 50 online users. Harry and I think that should be okay. the other Chat Room, is unlimited, and you can do private one-on-one chats, so may want to use both. Enjoy, and let me know if any problems.
  17. Try turning off Auto Scrol on bottom
  18. Yups like five minutes ago!
  19. You can log in as a Guest, but you can't access Private Chat (to other members). The registration does not involve receiving an email validation, it just logs you and your email and IP, that's all. You can make up anything you want, or use your Forum name.
  20. I repeat, the Chat Room is not automatically linked to your forum log in. It may take it, based on your cookies, but it is not set up to do that automatically. You will have to type in your Log In Name, and if you keep it the same as your forum screen/log in name, it will help both of my two remaining brain cells happy that they don't have to be overworked to try and remember who is who. Thanks.
  21. The chat room is pretty cool In order to use the Private Chat, each person has to be logged in, not as a Guest, but with a screen name and password, and it asks for your email address. Now, when I get the Chat Room synced to the forum and the new site, it will be automatic.
  22. Right now, the chat room is not linked/synced to your forum log in. I will work on that it is a pain but, it's working Art Anderson was the first person to enter the new chat room, and he won the grand prize!!!!
