I have unlocked this thread. It's a great build. Keep your comments about PC, current events, or anything else to yourselves.

One thing I asked for in another topics was for any problems or anything that you would like to see fixed, or changed, or any other features to try and set up. What was not needed was this B.S. I have issued warnings on other topics, and this. I will delete accounts. There is more to this than just an upgrade. It's moving forward. Getting this to work better everywhere, on every device, for everyone. Yes, you have opinions. Yes, you don't like change. Yes, there are bugs. I don't need the sarcasm, nasty comments, rude remarks, and the bickering/fighting. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything. My parents taught me that when I was a keiki, and I still follow that today. Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself If you want to yell, scream, and throw insults at someone, then that is probably what you want yourself. But, unfortunately for you, you will be banned and deleted from this forum. Here is what I have gathered so far: "Under the old format when you visited say the workbench section. The threads you had not looked at were highlighted by bold type, and the ones you had looked at were in a thinner /smaller type. This to made it easier to know which threads I had looked at. Another example is the double spacing here. I did not set that up, and am having a bit of trouble finding a fix to go back to single spacing" "Wish I could preview my remarks with the button we used to have. But I'll just reread them several times." These are comments I need. Yes, prior comments were right, I am looking into themes that are out there, but heh, guess what? They cost money. You have an endless bank account you want to share? (Yes, that's sarcasm, for a reason) I'm learning stuff on this every time I log in. I don't have the luxury of doing a test forum. For one thing, this forum is too huge to migrate into a test site. I could make a new one, test it, but that's the same issue of physically being able to do it. This is the new look, and guess what? It will change again. It will get better. And yes, if you don't like it, you can leave. And those sarcastic comments, and even changes to avatars and signatures will be treated as abusive behavior, and dealt with accordingly. If you have constructive comments, or criticisms, let me know. If you want B&M about things, well, sorry for your loss.

I am taking a no nonsense approach for the next couple of weeks on the forum. I get notifications now of all reports being sent regarding any person, topic, or thread on the forum. First offense is a warning. Second is a deletion of the account. I have deleted accounts already. I'm really sick of this. Either shape up, or take the ship home. I don't want Harry to have to babysit the forum anymore. I have more important stuff for him to do, and not do! Yes, Danno, this means you two!!! :-)

I thought this was a responsive site now, which means it adjusts for whatever system you are on. As for topics not read, it shows up in the far right "More" Preview works if you hover over the topic/thread just play around with a bit, it's pretty neat Everyone is complaining that we need to get more young ones in the hobby We can't do that without some changes Having to adjust to things is just a way of life. Yes, some are going to hate it, I can't do anything about that. You don't have to make snide comments, hide posts in other threads, and just be an okole about it

Is this still happening? I haven't looked into the chat settings yet. I know there is a 30 minute boot out, but that's all so far.
-
Here's one for everyone: What kit(s) have the best crate motors, Ford and/or Chevy? What motors do they represent? What's good about them? What's not? Also include tranny options. Mahalo
-
Rich, is it still happening? May have to reset that thingee (not cookie, but something like that)
-
Thanks, Hugh. I may go back to the 95%, just cause it leaves a little bit of wiggle room.
-
Harry, see if you can delete Bill's post Bill, no hard feelings, just want to see if he can delete posts now. Thanks.!!!!!
-
Rich, don't know about that Haven't even touched members (wait, that sounds real real real bad.) I'll look. Chris, Haven't seen messages yet either. It's a huge work in progress. Hugh, is it gooder with 100% (the way right now) or at 95%, way it was five minutes ago? mahalo

I also playing around with the ad placements. The new one gives more options. Yes, they are necessary. They pay for the forum/server/hosting, which is now more than most of y'alls monthly hobby allowance, and then some!!!!
-
Okay. Let's use this thread for the new look. So far, we have: 1. Round Avatars 2. Make posts stand out from the next one. 3. Work on search feature. 4. Will check on image sizes. 5. If you're going to make smartarse comments, I will either ban or delete your account. Let me know if other things to add.

It's called moving on up. Changes need to be made. Some won't like it Some will. That's life in the city!!!

Okay, huge changes to the forum. I missed a few of the earlier releases, so the tabs, links, etc. will have to be updated. It's a more streamlined and supposed user friendly update/upgrade. If any major glaring issues, let me know. If not major, just hold on, bugs will be worked out. -

Change the mailing from a PHP to SMTP. If that makes sense, you're hired. It seems to be working now. Last no good email looks to be at 7:31pm Wednesday night, my time. I'll keep an eye on it. -

Another glitch with the emails and validations of new user accounts. I added a new IP to the server, for the outgoing mail, and that seemed to fix things… for a while. Now, it's back to no emails being sent out. Working on it now. -
One I forgot, the Toyota Levin (Corolla). That's a good one.

Jonathan, that's a good one, the Tamiya and the other one, Fujimi or Aoshima, can't remember which ones. I had dozens of those, curbside ones. The Tamiya is nice, has the motor, but the other ones had those wild body kits. Thanks on that!

After adding another IP address to the hosting, it seems to have fixed the bounced email problems during registration, and users getting the email notifications of watched topics.
