Rommel, How bout I teach you how to silk screen . Yes, years ago I used to make limited runs of H O scale decals including Gold Leaf inks to a high end toystore thats kind of still in business today. Go find my personal e-mail in my profile . I can probably show ya whats involved using my e-mail. Ed Shaver
Ed, if Im not mistaken you can use a A M T 71 with some minor trimming . I don't have those pieces in front of me so I'm trying to rely on memory . I know there were differences on the Barricuda and the Challenger as I sold the real Plymouths in the day. Ed Shaver
I have used Aluminite on now several occasions . To be quite honest , I can't recomend them . Their rubber is to soft and a few posters above stole the show as in their assertion on the too quick to kick resin ! Im serious , you may have a MINUTE to dump resin in a mold as their two part resin will actually cure in a cup that fast ! Their rubber is fine for a simple one piece mold . It won't do a job of some hubcaps . I too found too many pinholes and the fact that on two piece molds , I barely got two gasoline pumps out when the mold was junk. I'll be gooing back to Synair products . Ed Shaver
He's busy sniffin Orange paint from the Hancock paint scheme on the Bowser he restored for his dad to realize he got older ! I bet he's havin a blast known a guy like Don . Ed Shaver
Kevin , had you been more specific , mabye we would have an idea as to what kind or a car or part you want to dissuss with us . Please don't ask me to sign up for Facebook , My space , Craigs list or Evil Bay as I don't play nicely with them . Ed Shaver
Well, cause my builds focus on Resturants , service stations and an occasional older house , I focus on Replicia Stock . Then I might do an occasional wrecker as I am now , followed by a rarely done streetrod . Ed Shaver
Charlie, in response to you doing a genuine A-100 van , go for it . I have seen the Jim Flintstone boidy and it fits the Old I M C / Linburg kit well. The end result is a nice representation of one of the "Early Vans " . Ed Shaver
Actually Mr. Mild, you could teach some of these so called builders on this forum a few things . Aside from the lack of some lighting on you're subjects , the photographs are clean and concise . The overall build on the model is great . I look forward to seeing the end result . Ed Shaver
For any of the Southern Van council members out there , you should know me as one onery ole sum ............ Ya'all also know of me being able to deliver what ever , when ever through ANY senerio. Ive lived all over the United States . No ever called me , "Puppy Trucker " Ed Shaver
As for a Gran Prix, well mabye . The Rallye Oldsmobile 350 was a fabulous car! I sold the Grash , uh Grand Ams new . Sorry but I was never a fan of any "colonade " G M car . Darn things were extremly Garish, poorly put together and in my opinion just junk . I went to trucks to have something dependable to drive . Ed Shaver
First, where is the facial or soffit board for the front of the building ? Why the solar cell on the front ? I used to have a friend who installed cells always on the roof . As for sugestions , do a light grey wash on the walls as as no garage is that clean ! Ed Shaver
I looked at you're photobucket album. It looked like you're a very seasoned model builder . Don't be shy , we like garages and the like here , especially when they have pictures in them ! Ed Shaver
Hummmmmmm, on a regular basis , uh Collectable Automobile, I have nearly every issue too. Vintage Truck, formerly This Old Truck. Petroleuem Collectables Monthly, ( Gasoline station realted ). Then theres Pontiac Enthuiast . Ed Shaver
