  1. So, some Florida guy displaying the efforts to compensate for his "inadequacies" ?
  2. A pristine classic in the wild. Bank parking lot in Santa Rosa (understandable). I think the color is Silver Blue Poly but I have not a spec of knowledge regarding Jags of this vintage. Not a particle of dirt on it. A nice change from BRG.
  3. I'm FAR from a Nissan expert (or even a fan) but the JDM brand name for this was Fairlady. I think it was sold as the Datsun 1600 and Datsun 2000 in the late '60s/early 70s. The Fairlady was then became the Datsun 240Z et al. I've always (semi) regretted not buying a Fairlady 240Z when I was stationed in Tokyo from 1974 to 1976.
  4. Well, it WAS being carefully driven with no quick steering inputs. I thought he was just "showboating".
  5. Yesterday morning, southbound on the Golden Gate Bridge. Maybe not this particular one but...this one. With the eye searing color and the cartoon logos. My wife said "what the heck is that" causing me to launch into some of the idiosyncrasies of Citroen 2CV's. "Yes, dear, about 1/10th the size of my Mustang's engine and yes it likely was maxed out at 65mph, downhill."
  6. So-bland looking and a prospective garage queen. A winning combination.
  7. I admit ignorance but what are it's differences/improvements over the Monogram/Revell 1st gen Mustang kit? Is it just the model year 65 v 66?
  8. Start saving the dinero: see description https://atlantis-models.com/preorder-boeing-im-99-bomarc-missile-with-launch-platform1-56/
  9. I think the level 2 rating should confirm it to be a snapper/clicker. Looking forward to it along with the new tool '71 Mustang of whatever flavor.
  10. I got to go to Phoenix to take in a couple of spring training games (Go, Giants-or at least be interesting) and while driving on Saturday night I saw 4 new edition Corvettes within one block of the restaurant in the Biltmore area. Is there a nest or something in the area?
  11. I don't understand it but I admire the whole-hearted dedication to it.
  12. They lost me in 2001 when they tried to screw over Bill Simpson in the wake of the Earnhardt crash.
  13. I read Golden Commanders and thought somebody’s putting out a Studebaker, cool.
  14. Better question is: will Chevy provide the seed money for Revell to develop a kit as they did for the previous versions? I'm down for that.
  15. Alll-righty then. And of course the rear license plate frame mentioned a "Need for Speed"
  16. And naturally I've got the original Heller release. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  17. (*cough, cough*) Peugeot 905 (*cough, cough*)
  18. Santa Rosa, CA. I consider myself pretty well versed on (especially) old cars but I'm not quite sure what this is. Nash? Packard? Plymouth? 2nd or 3rd time I've seen it but first time the Gods smiled on me for a photo.
  19. Not much but I did get a really neat decal sheet for the Chaparral 2D from Starfighter Decals. https://www.starfighter-decals.com/2406-texas-roadrunners-2d-24062.html It will go well with my two Monogram kits and the Fujimi one (which I believe is a repop from the Modeler's kit.
  20. "Without chemicals, life itself would be impossible."
  21. With Angelina Jolie riding shotgun after they've left the restaurant from "Seinfeld". ?
  22. I was just going to say that, it normalizes Bangle styling. Just an opinion but BMW, by trying to be every thing to everybody, seems to have lost its way. Last one I had any extensive contact with was a rental 3 Series Hybrid in Toronto a couple of years ago. It was just...numb.
