looks good i personally dont like those type of wheels on muscle cars but i think with the shiny gunmetal paintjob it works well...it looks like they belong there good build

i have a nissan truck that came with the of road adventure kit im thinking it would qualify ? i have a few more pojects i want to finish first but lets go ahead and write me down as pending

usualy when i look at these typeof post i have no problem picking the one that stands out as my favorite but there are several great looking models here im gonna say, the dart is my favorite, with the two birds being close seconds

as the saying goes, i'd rather be right then politically correct

also keep in mind net every build is ment to look brand spanking new i have more then one build where a bad kit is actually a better starting point then a nice one because it is closer to the vision of the car i have in mind

ive seen models build where the front seat was patched up with duct tape and the builder used real tape, cut in tiny little strips

my vote for new engine goes to iether a caddy engine (only because it seems period correct) but rather the aforementioned firedome hemi there is a great one in the 57 (i think) ford f100 modified hauler kit and also one in the 32 (again, i think) ford revell kit as for battle scars, a good way to go about it is to lay down some BMF before painting and then use whatever tool you want to scratch some paint off later that should look like you swapped some paint or had to make a sharp turn just a hair to close to a wall

yup, i stopped in at the local Christian book store today, one of my sundayschool kids is having a birthday next week and i promised her a bilingual bible so while i was waiting for them to engrave it i read 20-odd pages off a book title "through my eyes" written by, you guessed it, Timothy Tebow (quite interesting reading actually, i might add it to my Christmass list) i was watching the interview he did after the game and it is just refreshing to hear the way he talks up his teammates and how he give credit where credit is due but most of all how he seems to put the emphasis on character over performance it was quite an interesting win thoug, they were behind 10 point with just over 2 minutes remaining Tebow started a scoring drive in which he was 8-8 and the kid that dropped the ball earlier on in the game picked up the touchdown pass now they are trailing by 3 with 8 seconds to go and they go for a 59 yard field goal attempt WHICH IS GOOD chicago starts the overtime with possesion, fumbles the ball which is recoverd by denver and after a 51 yard field goal denver has secured the lead in thier division i honoustly wonder how a team would prepare for a game against denver? i do think Tebow is a good quarterback (they dont give out heisman trophies for nothing) but the team itself seems to play better with him there its almost like the way manning carries (sorry, carried) the colts how would you prepare facing a team thats on a 6 game winning streak, most of which seemed strange at least and most of which came from 4th quarter deficits? i guess the newspaper summed it up best when it said "most denver fans may not want to admit it but the first 3 quarters of the game have become a fine time to tend to the weekend to-do list" at any rate, its a win and im glad for them hopefully we can help them secure the lead by knocking oakland down a spot for them (speaking as a lions fan now) wow, im starting to ramble

would you really run a flattie in a shine runner ? i wonder if you could get away with slapping an early firedome hemi in there? that would be killer oh, and set the rear suspension up a tad higher...if the trunk is empty, maybe set it too low if its full ? and maybe some battle scars, one or two bulletholes in the trunklid?

i guess my thanks go out to those of you who have send me free parts over the year im not going to mention each and every one of you or i would be bound to forget a few but needless to say that is one of the things that makes this forum so great having said that, i do want to give a special shout out to george53 for sending me (or should i say my boy) some 1/25 bikes

my favorite is the 69 nova but i'd really love to see you build some mopars

thanks Doc that 67 did come out pretty good thanks Wayne, im not a big fan of those huge wheels under classic cars but i think the nailpolish paint on the superbee makes it all fit nicely

wouldnt surprise me if the price just went up...denver took a 10-13 win over chicago in OT i was following the game on the NFL site one of the bears fans (im guessing) posted the following comment after the game "If there is a God, maybe he should work on the hunger/poverty thing instead of helping Denver win games" that just cracks me up i like it how Tebow takes all this flack for being a Christian and never having a bad word to say about those who comment on him i guess it goes right back to why i think he's a good role model

only thing i can reccomend is do your homework Doc take the goodyear logo for instance there is nothing wrong with putting it on a gasser but if you intend to build a gasser as it ran in the early 60s and you put on the revised goodyear logo like they started using in 82, well, you can do better then that so other then period correctness i would go for it
