The old MPC kit is alright but, if sit down and compare with the newer Revell mold, its years advanced. The molding is not as crisp, the seats are molded to the console, some of the suspension is molded to the chassis. Some trim is missing on the body. Injust prefer the Revell Charger kits.

Here's another one that I have started to prep. I found a picture years ago of a White 67 GTX and fell in love with it. So, I have been planning on building a replica of it but, never got around to it. I didn't know what to do for the strips since the kit only comes with black so I taped them up and painted them. Not perfect but will do.

Haven't posted much on this one until now. I wanted to add a 69 Charger 500 to my Chargee shelf. Looked at the old MPC kit and thought to myself, how much trouble would it be to use a Revell kit for one? Went digging thru my stash, found Charger Daytona kit that I had held for something, found an extra 68 Charger. Cut the fenders off each and swapped the 68 fenders onto the Charger Daytona body. Alittle putty, primer, paint and clear looked good. Got it out last night to foil trim and noticed that the putty had sank into the holes that i had filled and putty for the Daytwing. Grabbed some water and sandpaper and then some wax and polished it up and looked great. Then I noticed more texture in the paint so tried the same thing, water sanded and waxed but broke thru. Had to scuff and repaint it. Hope it looks alright in the morning. Haven't posted much on this one until now. I wanted to add a 69 Charger 500 to my Chargee shelf. Dug through my stash and found this. Painted it with Scale Finishes Grabber Green Enamel back in April 2019. Will be basically box stock like most of my builds. This will be build #13 since this "Pandemic" started.

just completed my 1970 Plymouth Superbird that has been painted for awhile now. Testors Hemi Orange (Tor Red in Plymouth colors) Lacquer. Wheels and tires were from Revell 1971 Plymouth GTX. Pirated rear shocks from the Revell 1968 Charger, cut down drag shocks. Keith Marks decals since the kit didn't have any Roadrunner decals for the wing or nose. I know have both of my wing cars built. This #12 since this whole virus "pandemic" started.

Any updates?

You can tell the origins of this kit dates back to the 80's. Interior not that great in detail but atleast it doesn't show too much when installed in the body.

I got my Charger Daytona finished, thought I might as well get my Plymouth wing car out and see about completing it. Testors Model Master Hemi Orange lacquer. This is another one that has been painted for a few years now.

Thank you all for the comments. I hate not having any work to do but, I am grateful for the time for modeling. It's been a while since I've been sleeping to get much time for models. I do want to get back to work though.

Just completed my 1969 Charger Daytona. Painted it about 10 years ago and never got around to finishing it until now. I believe it was painted with MCW Light Turquoise and then clear coated and polished alittle bit. Keith Marks decals for the stripe since kit decals were messed up. Used the kit supplied 440 instead of the kit hemi. Not everything came with a hemi back in the day. Tires are AMT Parts Pak White Walls with kit supplied wheels.

Some dash work. Working on completing the interior. Bare metal foil work done. Windows installed. Hope I will be able to get everything stalled with the nose cone glued on. Time will tell.

While working on gather parts and kits for my 1969 Charger 500, I found this Charher Faytona painted up in my stash. This has been painted for years, maybe upwards of 10 yrs. Thought I'd get this out to finish up. Had to get decals from Keith Marks because the stripe was a mesh in my kit. Wheels are from AMT Parts Pak. Not even sure what paint or color I used. I believe it was MCW Automotive Light Turquoise Poly.
