Thought while the weather was nice here in Maryland that I would get my Jimmy out to paint. Testors Model Master Citrus Yellow Metallic lacquer. Not sure about interior or cap color yet, thinking about a dark green. Had to laugh when my 8 yr old son sees the model kit in the hobby shop and said "Hey why does that model have my name on it?" After that I had to buy it.

Dug this out of my stash. Revell 1967 Nickey Camaro. I went searching for reference and found a color I liked. I pulled Scale Finishes website and ordered up a bottle of Emerald Turquoise enamel. Primed with Tamiya White Primer, airbrushed and then cleared. Just polished the paint up alittle bit. Interior will be the same color, only I primed with Tamiya Grey Primer to see if it would change the color ever so slightly.

Not yet. Lost some interest in it right now but, it's just off to the side of my desk. Can pull it back on the desk at anytime when the right mood strikes. Just got in a mood to try and finish up some others I've had painted for a few years before anything happened to them. -
Nope no fitment issues

Digging through my stash to what I have painted to finish up and came across this. Thought I might as well get it out to finish. Making good progress. Trying to use the photo-etch grille that it came with.

Dug this one out of my stash to finish. Inly had a few parts to add upon pulling it out of the box. Started with the Moebius Joe Weatherly Pontiac kit.. Painted Testors Classic White with Duplicolor Autumn Maple interior, Powerslide decals. Made headlight covers. Mostly out of box except headlight covers, fuel filler neck and overflow below the trunk lid. Had tobwait a few days for it to stop snowing to be able tobget pictures outside. Hope I was able to capture the look accurately.

1969 Richard Petty Talladega

Got it all done -
I just completed my 1969 Ford Talladega made by Polar Lights. I used Testors Big Bad Blue, Powerslide decals. Body just sits on chassis, not to happy about that. No real locating pins on alot of the parts. I cut the exhaust dump tube and replaced with aluminum tabbing for a more realistic look. Was worried how it would look but quite satisfied with the end result.
