Tried one of the side decals last night, wanted to see if the color would bleed thru the white. Color bleed was minimal but had to remove it (good thing I have a few extra kits). It stuck to the body with a few small wrinkles and could not move the decal to smooth them out. Tried everything but it stuck tighter than anything. I'll try again another night, hopefully will go better.

I too suffer from M.A.D.D. I have I don't know how many projects started but always want to start something else. Looking great

Work has been alittle slow and I'm trying to do alittle more research on the 66 long nose Landy Dart so, I thought I'd see what I could do with the 64 Dodge. Here's a quick mock up. Not to bad.
-
Awesome. Looks great

Quick mock up of ride height. Working on this one in evenings when time allows. Landy Long Nose Dart is at work for slow times.

Looks good. I did the same thing when I built my 65 Landy Dodge from the Polar Lights Coronet kit. Most of the time super glue has worked for me but for some reason it didnt on this resin body.

Got discouraged with this when I started to modify wheelbase. Cut body to use the altered quarters and tried gluing it in on drivers side but superglue didn't want to hold. Put it back in box then. Decided to pull it out and see what's what with it and determined that I would try some 2 part epoxy I have. Seems to be holding better this time around. Cut the passenger side and got it ready to epoxy it in. Still need to enlarge to wheel openings.

A colored cap is one thing but just a small sticker/label on a black cap?
-
These new labels on the Testors Model Master Lacquer Paints are something left to desire. I don't know who designed them but, no where on the can label is the name of the color printed on it. The only place the name shows up is on a sticker on top of the cap. Who designed this BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH?

Better shot of interior color. I tried to work on the dash a little to de-trim it and add a radio delete plate. Wheel and tire choice is kit supplied tires with kit supplied steelies for rear and Moebius Cragars from their 65 Comet for the front

I'm at it again. Had some left over Scale Finishes Calypso Coral paint from my 1970 Boss 302 and thought I'd get this ready for paint. Using Tamiya Champagne Gold for the interior. I'm going to try and use the White decals to see how they work. I haven't really seen anybody build this kit yet to see if they have any bleed thru of color. I really should finish up some more models before starting more but, oh well.

Yes. I had to work on the backside of the grille to get in to sit flush with the body. Still I thought it was a great kit.

The worst one for glass fitment has been the 61 Pontiacs. I built one of the 65 Satellite and didn't have any issue with glass. Working on the Leal Sedan now.

Thanks guys. I'm loving these Moebius kits.

Started this one 8 years ago, wow! Guess it's time to pull it out to finish it. This is how it came out of box

Not sure if I had started a WIP thread on this one or not but, completed today. Tamiya Black and Clear with Testors Nassau Blue interior. Redline tires from AMT parts pack. Kit wheels. Wanted something different than Red or Black interior. Thought I'd try Blue. I really like the look.

I'm still waiting. Any news or is this just in limbo with the selling of Moebius like others have said with the Nova/Chevy II kits?

1964 Dodge Single Headlight Grille?
jjsipes replied to jjsipes's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Thanks guys. I have since found out that the other Lindberg 64 Dodges had the single headlight grille pieces in the kit. Found one that I will be using. Thanks again. -
I seem to remember someone doing a resin single headlight grille piece for the Lindberg 64 Dodge Super Stock kits. Does anyone remember who that was? I cannot for the life of me remember who or where I had seen it.

Love it. Always liked the 60's Mopars

Working on my wheel and tire choice. From the Revell 32 5 window coupe. Will be using the chrome rings and caps. Need to touch up white walls after popping wheels in.
