What about the Model Car Garage Photoetch set for the 71 Cuda? They have the fender gills there. https://www.modelcargarage.com/eshop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=321&idcategory=11 Loving what your doing with this.

Yes, I have been looking at them but asked whether the white was printed or not and was told they are printed on white paper. So one would need to cut the stripping out close in order to use them then, need to be worried whether the orange would bleed through or not. Could use as paint guide I guess

Some more roughing out tonight. Worked on modify the front end. I filled taillights and tag pocket on rear bumper. Narrowed up the rear bumper slightly so the bumper ends fit flush with quarter. Thanks to Mr. Muppet for the rear bumper

Love it. I have actually thought about doing this with the 59 Imperial kit but haven't gotten the nerve up yet. Looks amazing

I need to quite painting bodies and try and get some stuff built and finished. Just so beautiful out on certain days that I hate to pass it up.

You're correct. Typing on my phone doesn't always go as planned.

Thought I'd take advantage of some beautiful weather in Maryland and paint another body up. This time it's the Revell 1970 Torino Cobra. Primed and then painted with Scale Finishes Grabber Green

Started interior work. Painted it Testors Magnesium with Semi Gloss Clear. Now to dry brush Black on the inserts.

Just traded parts with Mr Muppet. Great dealing with him.

Started some nose work. I read where the nose was extended 6" so I added a 1/4"

That was my thoughts as well. I used Avery labels for something my wife and I were working on for the kids school and cleared over it and the clear just soaked into the label.

Has anyone tried printing on some store of masking material from a printer and cut it out and applied to body for 2 toning? Looking for some type of masking material to run thru a printer to get correct shape from side to side

That's why I haven't even attempted anything on it yet

I've looked at that before but to me only the paint scheme is similar. Hood and nose are different

I'd like to do the other RTS Caravan cars but I don't know

After a few hours.

After watching the Mecum Indy 2019 Auction, I had a thought come back in my head and went digging for an old partial buildup. Threw it in the stripper and got to cutting. Not sure how well this will go but, here I go. Gonna be a long process due to time for modeling and having too many projects.

Got the primer done, and sprayed some Blue on it that I had left over from my 61 Pontiac Ventura. It's not perfect but, neither is the kit in my opinion.

Making progress after a long hiatus on the workbenches. Got the interior done, engine installed and chassis just about completed.
