I would like to know everyone's thoughts and ideas for gluing a model together after the parts and body were painted before assembly. Thanks in advance.

I'm getting ready to turn 81 the first week of April. I have been away from model car building for at least 30 years. I've been trying to get started again for about 3 years. I've collected quite a few of kits and rebuilders; plus lots of parts. Now I want to really get started building and want to know what you guys use CA Glue for. Also what Brands do you recommend? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

What is the percent of each color you use in this mixture?

That was the only model glue I had available when I did that.

I have some models that were built over 50 years ago and I glued corduroy material to the seats as Tuck and Roll material, I have removed the material but dried glue residue remains and I am looking for a way to remove it. This also includes some interior floors That I had glued felt down and am now removing but I still have the same residue problem that I had with the corduroy. I'm pretty sure that I used Testors in the orange tube. Thanks for any responses that would be of help to me.

My suggestion and it is only a suggistion on the color which YOU must decide. Which is Maroon fenders and cream colored body.
