  1. Not once they are on. Put them in a window that get the most sun and the uv Rays will bleach them out. I like your paint scheme.
  2. Thanks for that Steve. I'll have to find some at a LHS. It looks like us Cnds may not be ordering any on line goodies anytime soon if CP goes on strike.
  3. Looks good Mike, nice interior and engine detail, real nice BMF work. Christine was on yesterday.
  4. I might have to pick up one of these kits. Good stuff Shay!
  5. This is looking real great!
  6. Stephen,Dave,Steve,Joe,Dave C, thanks for the continued interest and comments of support, they are much appreciated. This truly was nothing more then a "let's try this and that and see how it looks project". It's been a fun exercise and yes at times tedious and patients testing. I learned lots and gained some much needed AB control experience. A few more things here and there and it might actually be done. I am thinking it needs smaller (shorter) rear tire's from the '41 Willy's street kit.
  7. Cool build, nice paint and engine detail on the carb linkage.
  8. Great twist and mods on a classic TV car. I am liking what I see.
  9. Some minor progress on the trunk.

2 part auto poly has been my choice, easy to use, good coverage, always glass smooth and pretty tough too.
  11. Looks great, the painted front end and wheels really work with the grey.
  12. Good job Steve, how did you find working with it.
  13. Talk about speed building. Fantastic work, it looks great.

Love the paint colour combo, this is one sharp looking build, very, very nice work. Top notch.
  15. Man is this ever raw, the weathering looks great. Did you use PE weld lines around the rear window.
  16. The finish is looking great. If you already have a recovery plane with the black I would be inclined to keep at the hood until you got rid of the orange peel or you burned through.
  17. Fantastic finish, looks really well done.

Looks pretty good from here. Too bad about the hood, clear plastic and lacquer never mix well.
  19. More fantastic work Tim.
  20. Nice style Michael, very slick. I hear ya on the speed thing, I ride DH too, used to spend a ton of time riding in BC on the shore and up a Whistler. There is something about hitting that sweet zone where tunnel vision and focus is pin point sharp, until you crash, then it's just an F1 wreck.
  21. WOW, I just went through this entire thread, very very impressive!
  22. Great interior and paint.
  23. I like the detail and the sticker sheet in the window.
  24. Looks very nice. Good work on opening the trunk.
