  4. Welcome to the forums and great job on the super bee , but dont just limit yourself to mopars try al kinds of builds it will help to widen your building skills. Too many modelers limit themselves to just one type of model then they never know whats really out there and how much fun other types of models can be. I build it all.
  5. Whats really amazing to me John is not how well you put this together. (because Ive come to exspect that from you) But the fact that your Dad was the pilot of the bike that broke the 200 mph mark 20 years ago and now you are able to rebuild his ride. OUTSTANDING!
  6. the best thing I found for seat belt material is medical tape made by Johnson & Johnson it has the same threaded nylon look as a real belt and the best thing about it is its cheap and can be colored with Sharpie markers. check out my seatbelt tutorial here at this link. be sure to scroll down a bit http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31030&st=260 I hope this helps you. Romell

  14. I know this has nothing to do with models but This is for the person who asked me about my tank the other day in a PM I wont mention his name for fear we will both be tossed out of the forums for even posting these here LOL! anyway this is my 160 gal salt water tank and my fish "Patience" she earned her name when she waited so patiently while my wife and I captured an unrulely fish in the tank. I hope you enjoy..... Patience peeking out of her small cave...(her house)she will actually play Peek-a-boo with me and my wife and in the center of this picture see if you can find my Seahorse "Bubbles"(he got his name because i had to evac his pouch of air once)
  15. Superbly done Paul keep up the fantasic work!
  16. Outstanding!!!!
  17. First let me say you have done an outstanding job on the build.... But i wanted to add that header wrap has a purpose and is not just cosmetic. Its actually used to keep the heat inside the header which makes the exhaust flow faster, and keeps the engine compartment(if you have one) cooler. the faster the exhaust flows the better the engine runs...when I build a 1:1 I always wrap the headers (unless its a show car)
  18. Cant wait to see how this one turns out.
  19. Thx gentalmen for all the warm comments and thx for following and making this thread so popular.
  20. Most intruction start you off with the motor and take you to the chassis if there is one. I think most people build out of habbit or how they have been taught. I build randomly opne one build I started with the interior and built the model around it, on another i started with the motor, I truely believe that once you start putting down the instruction sheet that people build from personal preferance as I do. 21. Thats gonna one huge rig when your done buddy, i want to build the one in your avatar photo.....
  22. Sniff sniff (as the tears are wiped from his eyes) Hey thx Jim for that sincere compliment. And truely I do try to keep Jehovah God involved in every aspect of my life. And as every good gift comes from him, I can only credit him for my talent. And like you I love Frank Lloyd Wright's work I have sevaral books featuring his homes. I do beleave the our hobby is an art form that I to am fortunate to be a part of. Romell
