  1. LOL! no actually I was 1st Recon in the Marine Corps but besides doing scale models Im also into 3d grafic creation, my avatar is one of the characters in my grafic noval "PreEarther" which will hopefully release next summer
  2. Actually you are correct about your seats sitting too low. these seats are made for race & import cars but all you have to do is add rails to the bottom to raise the seats about 3-4 scale inches. And good job on the build so far. keep up the good work. Romell
  3. I've really enjoyed your build I think your building skills are excellent. I am really considering building a 1/12 scale project, I was wondering if you or anyone eles could give me any suggestions as to where to find good aftermarket parts sites for this scale. thx in advance for any help you can provide. Romell
  4. "The old non-invented texuring technique" mark you crack me up I know exactly who you are speaking too (or of) I tear up in giggles everytime I see you make a statement such as this one. Please stop your ripping my sides in two , but do keep up the good work And i'd love to see more of your "non-inventive skills" Romell
  5. where are you get the turbo units from??
  6. Trust me if the 1:1 was home there would be some update pics, but as my body man is a lazy jerk I dont have my car yet. but stay tuned and i'll have something for ya soon
  7. Thx for the compliment Moparfan but I am by far not the best modeler around there are soo many I look up to here in the forums that have far better skills than myself, Mr Obsessive, Scale-Master, John Teresi,TreeHugger Dave. These are just to name a few, and im still learning. as far as the A-arms go Im the type of modeler whos sees shapes and materials, the A-arms were made from piano wire that can be brought at your local hobby store, and very then sheet metal(also bought at my LHS) these were also my first attemp at welding parts together with solder. Oh and I also used brass tubbing. I know this doesnt tell how I made them as it is rather complexed and it would probably be easyer for me to do a tutorial on it. Hey maybe i'll put one together. Anyway thats enough of my jibberish, I hope you have a great day!
  8. You should have given out bibs before this build, cause I think you me a new shirt cause i drooled all over mine LOL! EXCELLENT job my friend. Romell

  17. Heres a couple pics of the original Monte Carlo
  18. I originally built this over 15 years ago, It was a 1987 Monte Carlo SS pro street it had won many shows and had some magazine spreads. it was knocked off a table at a show and that ended his career. it sat in a dark box for 13 years after that untill I got the Revelle mustang kit just for some parts and I thought to myself its a shame to waste such a nice body. and the rest is new history. I hope you enjoy.....
  19. you have my attention....
  20. Hey Pete I'd love to see you put together a tutorial on just how easy it is to solder the parts together.

  24. I want to help out with this so im gonna pull out my silverado and one of my escalades and see what I can come up with.....
  25. I use a medium set CA glue just a very small amount will hold P.E. parts. and the medium set dosent dry instantly so you'll have time (about 25 secs.) to adjust your parts.
