Im glad you brought this up because last night after I shot these pics I thought the same thing so I added a black piece of mesh between the two outter pieces and it gave the radiator a more full appearance.Thx for the astute observation. Romell
-
Well heres the paint radiator frame and the completed radiator... enjoy
-
I was able to get some work done on the radiator heres some progress pics... heres the kit radiator you know this just wont do. so i removed the cnter from the kit part and i had to add the rear side to it also (good thing I had two kits) here I have the mesh cut to the right size and ready to be installed , but the frame has to be painted first.

in the next set of pics you see I have the cowl thined and im afixing it to the kit hood. here the almost finished hood with 4' cowl here how the hood sits on the car, well sorta LOL!

Yes all the lighting is LED because you can run unlimted numbers of LEDS on two AA batterys and you dont have to worrie about heat build up. another plus to using LED's is you can shape them by grinding or sanding. thx my friend for your compliments have a great day! -
Hey fellas this isnt really an undate its more of a warning. I recieved some parts today I ordered From PFS Hobbys, now Im not gonna tell you not to do business with them because that totally up to you. But I will inform you that they have very poor customer service. I purchased some parts from them a resin hood w/ 4' cowl and some parts for my next project. Thfact that it took almost 3 weeks to get to me doesnt bother me as much as what he said to me via email when I asked him about the order the second time (the second time because i hadnt recieved anything within the 2nd week and no notice on weather or not it had been sent out.) here are our emails to each other: Has my order been shipped yet as you have charged me already but I have recieved nothing, not even an email to say the items are on the way. Romell Robinson his response: This week is not over yet you are not my only customer.I'm not selling 10 pound gold bricks here in need of constant emails back and fourth Items have been mailed do not bother me again. my response When I read your email I couldnt help but to laugh to myself. I am a forty+ year old business man who conducts business via email and other sources daily. I cant believe you would speak with a paying customer the way you have. My only concern was weather or not my items may have been sent and or lost in the mail. I understand you are busy but you must understand that it is my money that has been spent (on your site no less). You need to learn some business maners and treat the ones who are spending money with you like you care about your customers. I would have never told someone Im doin business with " Dont bother me again" you stood to make hunderds of dollars with me not to mention the money you would have made from people I would have told about your site. I am a Pro Modller and hundreds of people ask me where or how I built something. But it seems you have just screwed yourself out of lots of business. Have a Nice day and next time some one ask you about merchandise they own that you have try to atleast pretend you care about your customer. So take it for what it is. anyway I think i needed to vent thank you for being a listening ear. here is the hood I got from him which is warped LOL! after all that. the P.E. parts are from Pegasus hobbies who have great customer service by the way!

Hey Folks this one has been posted here on the site before in "under glass" I never put it here because I failed to notice a truck section (my bad) anyway for those of you who have not seen it it will be a treat (I hope) and for those who have seen it I hope it will be like seeing an old friend again. Looks like you finally got a handle on this build Rick, nice way to show that plastic whos boss (we all know the plastic owns rick but dont tell him) keep up the excellent work buddy I cant wait to see it whipped into submission. or finished. Oh nice seat by the way.

Your best bet is to grab it now while its available , It could go out of production and then you'll find yourself saying "I should have" or you'll be buying one on Ebay and paying out of the wazoo for one. I always get it when I want it for just those two reasons, excellent color choice by the way LDO!
