  4. I can assure you my friend that the fan is realistic and accurate I have one on my 1:1 but to be honest I may have to switch to dual fans, but as far as the model goes its only gonna have the one fan as the radiator only has room for one. Thx for your concern and compliments. Romell
  5. Thx Peter , Thats truely a great compliment comming from you. Thats what I believe every model should be, a series of smaller models that make up one
  6. Hey fellas latest update ... Just got some small detail parts done in the first picture you'll see the digital Tach which will mount on the dash. also in the first picture you'll see the four Wilwood break calipers if you look closely you may be able to see the extra detail in the calipers. in the next pic you'll see the finished hood and in the back theres the radiator I made and electrical plug for the motor. you'll notice in this pic that the rims have been removed thats because I wont be using them and I need to change the whole break setup.
  7. When I used to tint the windows of my models I would go to the local auto store and buy actual window tint rolls. now you can buy it from Wal-mart by the foot. you can apply it then use your exacto blade to cut it to fit your windows. Romell
  8. Nice job keep up the good work!
  9. Amazing you have the doors I was planing to do on almost the exact same car. I have what i call the magnum 300(300C front end /magnum RT body). I cant believe you already did it too kool, good job too! I guess its true "If you think about it chances are someone has alraedy done it".I'd like to see more of this build if you dont mind Peter.

  11. As always its my pleasure
  12. How about a door that slides forward like a patio door, it would move out then forward. the track would actually be attached to the door like a hinge then it would simply slide forward. sounds complicated but I have the plan drawn out in my head already let me know if you want a drawing. Romell
  13. cant wait to see the rest!!!!

  16. Not at all Dave it slips right tru just make sure your diameter it correct
  17. Now start trimming up your belts and putting your parts together. Look at how good these more realistic belts look compared to the black tape stuff that comes with the kit. Oh and the plastic bag is still on the back of you belts if you pull it off now you have self-adhesive belts and you can apply them however suits you. well let me know what you think. Heres the finished seats enjoy....
  18. well heres the update i promised ya, I was able to get the racing harnesses completed and on the seats. Im gonning to show you how to get a more realistic looking belt. I start with the Racing harness kit by Detail Master, they make a really nice kit and you can use the kit by itself and have some really nice harnesses but if you want something a lil more detailed then try this.... Instead of using the black tape material that comes with the kit I use medical tape from Johnson&Johnson it has the same texture as the real racing harnesses and it looks great once your done. Just check it out for yourself and you tell me what you think. First layout a few strips of the medical tape on some plastic like a sandwhich bag, then use the patterns that come with the kit, place the patterns on a few strips of the medical tape and continue to follow the kit instructions untill you get all the belts cut out..... Once all the belts are cut out, dont remove any of them yet first you have to color them the color you need. I need black belts so I used a black Sharpie, You can also use a blue, red, green, or whatever color you need. be sure to use a sharpie because it actually dyes the tape the color your using, and you dont end up covering up detail with paint. (plus paint gets hard)
  19. thats some serious weaponry there son be careful you dont blow the doors off someones ride LOL i wish you well with that Rod shop and thx for the compliments Romell

  21. OK dave im doing the math here , the way I have it figured is you owe me four new shirts....."Why do I owe you four new shirts" you ask?? because I just drooled my way through two shirts on this build and now im about to go read another one of your builds so I figure four shirts should make us just about even.
