When I was living in the western part of Masschusetts in 2005-06, not far from me were two McGinnis scheme (royal blue with white and black herald) Boston & Maine cabooses for sale. I was seriously toying with buying one, putting it on a lot, and using it for my house until I could get a little more money up, then use the caboose for my trains. Heading home from Eastern Star tonight was a snow/sleet/rain mix. All kinds of fun driving, especially the long run I have (about 60 miles to my chapter- ended up there because I was living out that way and I have a lot of friends in that chapter,) and late at night. I wish I could drive a manual transmission. When I was learning to drive, Dad had a 5-speed Aries. I tried to drive it, but could never get the hang of the clutch, and burned it a few times. After that, I was driving Mom's Cutlass. The Aries was assassinated by an inattentive driver before I got my license. Since then, everything's been automatic. And I could never talk any of my friends into teaching me how to drive stick. Charlie Larkin

For a kit consistently criticized for being so off, it doesn't look that bad at all, assuming the Franklin Mint car is right. Mine's only a four-cylinder, but let's go for a tour...
