  1. The '32 is just about finished... The molded-in upper radiator hose broke. I'll re-attach later when I feel like giving it a shot. Charlie Larkin
  2. Glad to see you back, Bill. We've missed having you around. Charlie Larkin
  3. Jared, this looks great. I was always surprised G.M. never made crew cab S-10/15s. Keep it coming. Charlie Larkin
  4. Nice build, looks like a lot of the trucks I used to see running around here. Charlie Larkin
  5. Very nice-looking. What red did you use for the interior? I'm planning on mine being either black or burgundy with a red interior. Charlie Larkin
  6. Very interesting, Steve. Who makes the conversion kit? Charlie Larkin
  7. Not what we wouldn't know what that's like, of course! So, Mike, what did you use for the environmental chamber? I'm really impressed with this build and I've enjoyed watching it tremendously. Charlie Larkin
  8. Nice build, and nice job on the case and base. Charlie Larkin
  9. Excellent, Ron! I've been looking for one of those myself. I'm thrilled to see a first-year Corvair in this. Thank you for the contribution! Charlie Larkin
  10. SUPERB! Charlie Larkin
  11. Nice job, Curtis. Keep 'em coming. Charlie Larkin
  12. Looks great! What colors did you use? I'm very pleased with what I see. Charlie Larkin
  13. I missed this one first time around. Looks great, Bob. For curiosity, whose buff paint did you use for the interior? It looks very good. Charlie Larkin
  14. Nice work on that. The paint is well-done too. Did you use the roof from the Revell '77 for that? Charlie Larkin
  15. Ian, This is a very good start at answering your question. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38009&st=20 Charlie Larkin
  16. This is a nice build. The colors look great and the assembly is excellent. Charlie Larkin
  17. Nice work, Wayne. I like the woodgrain in place of the black interior trimplates. This is a great build, keep it coming. Charlie Larkin
  18. Nice color choice, Mike. Another great build on the way. Charlie Larkin
  19. Had to look up where that beach was, as I hadn't heard of it. Your point is well-taken, Mike. After which, we can head over to Point Judith for some clams and calimari. And I have to wonder....it does rather seem I have the first stock '32, doesn't it? Charlie Larkin
  20. I've never been to Toronto, and this would be a great excuse to go! When are you thinking of doing this? Hmmm.....I wonder how long a drive it is...? Off to mapping software sites I go. Charlie Larkin
  21. That looks great! Charlie Larkin
  22. Shat lav (Very good in Armenian.) Charlie Larkin
  23. I do wish Dodge would offer the Challenger in green with a beige interior. I think it would look SO nice in that color. The local Enterprise office has a base 6-cylinder Challenger in silver, and it actually looks really nice. I might actually try building one like that for myself. Nice work, Jared. Charlie Larkin
  24. Chrysler's recent Flame Red that you can easily obtain as spray paint at an auto parts store, is in the neighborhood of the red that was being used. There are also a couple of very dark greens in both Plasti-Kote and Dupli-Color's line that are close to the Chrysler dark greens of that vintage. Dark green with the gold/saddle interior would be a sharp combination. Or you could order from MCW or ScaleFinishes and get whatever color you like. The one catch is you need an airbrush. Charlie Larkin
  25. Those look fantastic. Very nice work and nice execution. Charlie Larkin
