paint the scoop dark blue to match stripes.

In the process of building Glidden's 83 T-bird PS and need to paint the hood scoop to match the blue on the Slixx decals. Has anyone built this version of the pro stock? Looking for a rattle can paint to match or close to it. thanks

This one is a Revell kit, early 90's I think. I'll have to check the instruction sheet to see if that applies to these.

Hoping to put dome different decals on this stalled build, what are some good methods to remove the decal and save the paint?

Looking great! Only suggestion I would make is to possibly mount the brackets to the underside of the bed lip for cleaner look. I don't know, just thinking out loud .......

I think most of the problems stem from decals being old (90's) and fairly thick. I have tried the pin trick with little sucess.

Tried to lay on some decals for this funny car build and am having nothing but problems trying to get these to lay down. Have tried the Micro set & sol and it's still not cooperating. Any other ideas or am I past the part of no return? Still would like to save the body since it has a nice paint job on it. I am afraid to put on the large side decals at this point thinking that I'll have the same problem.

It will, it's about 22" in length including the wheelie bars. Need to find a case for it.
