  1. Tommy, there's something about this one that really screams BUILD ME, BUILD ME!
  2. Thank you, Cole. I gotta try my hand at a yellow or maybe even a bright red one. That would look cool.
  3. Welcome to the forum, Matti. Great, beautiful model. Thank you for sharing your eye candy with us.
  4. Great thread, and wonderful eye candy, everyone. I like to think that figures give dioramas another angle, another story-telling capability. And I have they say they are a blast to play around with, including creating a lot of discussion in the magazines the way this did way back: Another Ken Hamilton production, of course, where he shows how much fun one can have with figures . . . just on this side of the Law!
  5. Lately, I've been dreading building those interiors, in particular of models like the 62 Impala with all of that trim that needs foiling. Yikes. But I also don't enjoy building the engines . . .
  6. Hi, Steve, care to share some of you graffiti work with us?
  7. I like some of the more recent ones too. Nice collection. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Thanks, Steve, coming from you that means a lot to me.
  9. Well, as you can see from this picture, I am not very photogenic, so a good friend helped me out a little bit and he improved my avatar:
  10. Oh yeah, the sound will give you away. I got stopped once for my "loud" pipes and the police officer kept saying I had removed the baffles, and come to find out, they were in there, they were just loud pipes!
  11. The Paasche is perfect for some of the thicker stuff like primers, you bet. It works like a charm.
  12. It sounds like you have a great build idea right there, Mike. Do it. It's only styrene.
  13. David, the body work is solid. That thing is going to look great with paint. Keep it going, I'd like to see more.
  14. Al, for a minute I thought you had left a blank comment and then I looked to the upper right hand corner. Thanks.
  15. If you are street legal, you are street legal. I have seen police stop lots of guys on dirt bikes and other types that don't look like cruisers, etc . . . normally they leave us alone, as it should be. Then again I have seen guys doing willies on the freeways. That's a big no-no.
  16. The fact that you are crazy about Zombies, Rob!
  17. There are many builders out there with their unique thumb print. Can you guess who this is?
  18. Ira, I love this. You are possessed of a rare styrene genius! Keep it going. I've got the pop corn popping!
  19. Thanks, Shane. I appreciate it.
  20. I'm happy to see you are doing the 56, and of course you know what the logical step is after you do the 56, right?
  21. Steve, we'll see what challenges that rear suspension will create. I am hoping I won't have to cut the bed, but I just might have to . . . we'll see. I'm also planning to use those wheels that come with the kit on another build . . . Very exciting. I hope more folks jump in, in particular if you've never built a low rider.
  22. Chuck, I always liked the Count Chuckula one!
  23. Thank you, chaps. I am delighted you have enjoyed these. My plan now is to paint s few more. Let there be more SHINE! (Oh-oh, I see EYEGORE picking up a defribulator! No, EYEGORE, NO! Doctor Cranky will return to the RUST soon, promise!" EYEGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
  24. Sometimes keeping a list of these attribute you hear people say, James, like the working parts, eventually you develop a certain look people can recognize. I think it happens a lot with builders who use sense of humor in their work, or particular graphics, or basically a knack for bright colors, etc . . .
  25. Thank you, and here's a little video I made you might enjoy:
