  1. LOL, this might end up being a 62 Impala lowrider CB! I'm thinking of building one too.
  2. When I dropped my subscription to the other magazine and their contest issue, I started looking through the SHOW PICTURES often posted here to catch up on what was going on on the tables all over the country. I rather have access to lots of pictures (good or bad) then a few glamour shots. I know when I got to shows I take an average of 200-300 pictures, sometimes more. And I post them right away to share them with everyone.
  3. I like it and the simple backdrop. Cool.
  4. Absolutely gorgeous, Curt. Love it, one of the nicer C-vettes I've seen in a while. Thank you for sharing it.
  5. You got us drooling, Ira . . . please take your vitamins and keep it going, please!
  6. I love this thread, lots of great goodies . . . I had never seen before. Then again, I don't keep too many old AMT kits around.
  7. Beautifully done, Barbo. It can't get any easier (or faster) than that! And it looks great.
  8. Chuck, you are gathering some wonderful parts. Keep it going. About time you put your rides in a photo op base. NIce.
  9. Nice pit scene. Lots of details around the car. Makes for great viewing.
  10. Good advice, Neal. I would like to see them too. Thanks, Elliott.
  11. Very realistic looking, great details. Nice work, D.
  12. I love this kit and have built several. It's pretty flexible and it builds up nice. You should be able to build up a very nice engine. Lots of choices, and lots of fun.
  13. Keep it going. Jorge, that IS one beautiful subject and smooth body. Hope to see it in paint soon.
  14. LOL, Donn, the weather sounds just as crazy up there. The other day it was like 79 degrees, humid and muggy, and now it's 52, rainy with thunderstorms. Go figure. Yes, I've got lots of goodies to keep my attention focused away from having to paint on a rainy day.
  15. I never get tired of seeing Mercs, in particular beauties like this one. Thank you.
  16. Clean and beautiful. Great job. Nice.
  17. Wow, great progress. Okay, all those of you posting progress pics on this page will start the new Progress Video #6. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. You guys really are on a roll. Some heavy rigs that are going to look super.
  18. Luke, yes, please keep this one going, it's a beautiful if not gorgeous model. I'd like to see this one finished. I'm sure you would too.
  19. Well, the paint is stalled because of the rain, it just won't stop. And I don't want to take any chances with this one. It's in primer waiting . . .
  20. How Woody Allen of you, Chuck!
  21. Mike L, that sounds like a great tip for gap filling. Thanks for the input, folks.
  22. All right, let's make it more interesting. If you were a big shot movie star and you had more money than you knew what to do with, what would you show up in?
  23. All right, my Zombie-Hunting friends. Here's the new Progress Vid. Those of you who didn't make it on to this video, will make the next one. You know the routine. Enjoy and cheers, best, DC
  24. Mike H., and that's the problem. Rain I can handle, but it's been cold too. But I'm not going to complain, it's still warmer than in other places.
