Are the doors opened yet? Has the show started? What? Nobody is streaming live from the show? How could that be? I think we need to get there and stream live next year! What will it take?

Ah, the great anticipation. Soon the doors will open and in will rush one thousand modelers with their models. It's a thing of beauty, I tell you!!!

Ah, the clock is ticking and winding down to tomorrow's great show. Unfortunately, ###### Cranky will not be there, but three of his "dark" and "scary" models will be there. If you guys run across any children, please blind fold them so that they don't become corrupted!!!

Travel safe, Tom, and have a great time. And yes, please do take lots of pics!

The pages keep dropping off the calendar and I still haven't received my issue. It's getting lonely here in Bungalo #13 in Space Station NORAD, I am sitting here next to a little red button, and I feel lonely. I feel bored. I feel sleepy. My elbow creeps an inch or so closer to the button . . . I need my monthly eye candy . . . Help me, Harry, send out my copy on the next pony express!

Mine has not arrived, but I am sure when it gets here it will look well handled and used--I get the feeling the postal workers in town are all closeted model car builders!!! Who is this ##### Cranky you speak of?

You have a point, my friend. I too hate the belt covers that come with these bikes. I think I can scratchbuild one, that's for sure, and I think I will sooner or later. It too has been bugging me.

Thanks you, gents. Yeah, I have to say this one was a bit of work, but it ended up being quite a bit of fun. Now, it's on to the next project!

Lucky you. I hope the prices have started to come down some. I know HD has lost a lot of stock value in this tanked economy. But who know? Maybe they will never lower the prices . . . In any case, happy riding!!!

All right, friends, other than installing the cables, this one is done. In the bag. Finito. I had fun building it, that's for sure . . . The bars and handles are done, and some finishing accents were placed on the forks . . . some more watch parts . . . caps . . . etc . . .

Thanks, chap. What I like about this topic is that it opens the door to a healthy discussion of building models first and then having fun photographing them. Which is why I keep all of my models near by on the photo table just in case I feel like playing photographer and then I can have extra fun taking pics . . .

Thanks, Marcos, I really appreciate it the kind words. My advice to anyone who is thinking of scratch-building the forms is to really go slow and test-fit everything. Even then there's still a little bit of fenagling involved . . .

I'm working on the handle bar details and some fork caps, but here are a better round of pics . . . stay tuned in for more progress . . .

One of my favorite pieces so far on this bike is the headlight bucket and its details . . . The idea from the beginning was to capture the different possibilities with metalized paints and real metal parts . . . I think for the next one I will do more aluminum work on my lathe . . . yeah, right, like I know what I am doing with a lathe!
