  1. Looks good. you are getting better.
  2. Still getting better.
  3. You can change the wheels all you want, can't change the ugly of the GTO.
  4. These are a cool looking car.
  5. Thank You Tim. I had no idea that the two kits shared this many parts. I have not had mine out of the box for more than 2 minutes yet.
  6. Peter When I tell people that I have a flip phone they laugh at me. It is not even a year old. The best part is when they try and tell me how great a smart phone is. Then I ask how much more is the bill. LOL So is it just the 30 A mold that had the problem or is the 29 mold included also? How much shared tooling is there in the two kit other than the tires? Did they drop one on the other?
  7. This is a very nice pair of Oldsmobile's .
  8. Russ that Lindberg kit is a former Testers Boyd Coddington kit.
  9. This is very nice. I see the matching decals on the Chevy behind it, nice touch. Now all you need is a fish tank to put over the top for a dust cover, as I do not think it will fit in the display behind it.
  10. This is cool. We drove one down to Florida for spring break two years in a row, never thought to prostreet it let alone a stretch.
  11. Jeff are you asking how to attach them, because they are resin? I would think that Super Glue gel should do the trick. What is a Yooper doing living with the trolls ? LOL
  12. I had the chance to go sit in # 10 at a car show in Toledo a few years ago. man is than thing up in the air. The older gentleman said that they drove around around 35 to 40 MPH back in the day.
  13. Bill Elliot was driving for Melling by 1983 so if you are doing an 85 car that would be a good place to start. As far as wheel base an track width I do believe that NASCAR had rules and still do for these requirements. The teams had to make the car match the rule book. I do not know where you got your numbers Also remember that the templates back then were not as close as they are today, and there were not as many for the car to match. Each team had a good idea of how the body was shaped. LOL I hope this helps you a little.
  14. Some people vent the air from the paint booth through a bucket full of charcoal before releasing it back in the room. Not sure how safe or good this works but it has to be better than nothing for the smell.
  15. Another work of art from Charlie.
  16. This is very nice Hugh. I was wondering how you got the nice drawers to the left of the building counter space.
  17. I have to say I am sorry for not complimenting Andre on his nice Scout before I was rambling on with questions. This came out very nice Andre. I like the color choice you made.
  18. Thanks Tom for the answer. As nice as the Tractors and Semi's that ERTL put out I was thinking this somewhat simple kit was AMT's work from the 80's.
  19. Are you saying that there is a difference between the AMT/ERTL kit and the ERTL Kit? Just asking as I do not know.
  20. I have been thinking about this a little tonight. I am going to say that the 30 dollar kits are chasing away more kids that want to try it out than it us old duffers.
  21. Very cool.
  22. Now I do not go out and buy extra kits on speculation of projects. Just remember the more the kits cost the more the kits in the stash are worth.
  23. Thanks Carl.
  24. Been a rough few days over here. Lost three people this last week. One early 50's the other two not even 40. Today I was outside picking up leaves come in the house to find out through Face Book a good friend of mine past away this morning. Just a couple weeks shy of 50. This needs to stop now.
