  1. I like this car Snake. What I like about most it is that it has a flat hood and no rear spoiler. Many of these cars left the lot that way as it was an option many did not pay for. Yet when you go to a show they all have them.
  2. Looks great.
  3. Just keep telling yourself that Harry !!!
  4. 63 , what ever that says about me.
  5. Congrats. Enjoy
  6. Those are the papers that you lay down to build the kit on. You spill some paint on them, they stick together. The next day the last two parts you glued together do not fit where they belong. So you grab the instructions and find the spot you spilled the paint on is the drawing for the ill fitting parts.
  7. Is he selling the trucks off?
  8. Thanks for the Laugh, I needed it tonight.
  9. I am starting to think that Pete likes Fish Tacos and professional sports teams. If I was a sun lover or could even get a tan it would be nice but I like the great Lakes area , we have water and 4 seasons of weather. We know how to eat fish, and it is not in a taco shell. LOL
  10. Thanks. That is what I was thinking just not sure.
  11. So what are these taggers people are talking about? Help the old guy out.
  12. A very large number of stores use a Point of Purchase system. To put it the way it was explained to me, the store does not pay for the item until you pay for it at the register. Even busted things are sold at full price., They want you and I to send it back to the Manufacture for a refund. Just look at most instructions anymore, they say right inside do not return damaged merchandise to the store of purchase.
  13. Another Nice model .
  14. I have a friend who moved out there years ago. After his time in the Air Force he landed a job as an officer in Tucson. Last time he was back and we got to talk I asked about the dry heat. He said don't let them fool you 100 degrees is hot dry or not. We had a good laugh over that. I hope I get to see him Saturday.
  15. I agree Bill just look at what they are and have been restamping in steel for the real cars. One thing to consider would be parts packs for most of the cars mentioned. A hopup pack could fit many different car and makes , this way the would only have to make the molds one time instead of making the same part in a mold over and over. Just grab the tree for the engine of choice and place it in the box for a complete kit . I do not think anything is going to be a million kit seller anymore but if they spread out the cost of the molding between four or five different kits it should be cheaper for all involved. As Bill the Car Wizard has said Ford used the same frame for many different years why shouldn't Revell do the same.
  16. Yes this is a good idea. Can be used in all sorts of crafts.
  17. Good idea to put a hold down on it somehow. The only problem is if you have to turn it because of wind. I always tell people to remember to put a shut off valve in the basement before it goes outside around here, helps keep little ones from turning the gas on when you are not around.
  18. How can anything be cool this time of the year in Tucson?
  19. That is is nice looking setup . I like the basket idea for wings. I wonder how well they will crisp up. I liked my Brinkman, does yours have the brass burners?
  20. Nice truck Bruce .
  21. Equally stunning is what’s going on underneath the hood. GWA plans to shovel a 6.2-liter supercharged LS9 V8 from the late-great C6 Corvette ZR1 into the engine bay, good for over 620 horsepower. The engine transplant will complement a tubular spaceframe chassis, custom suspension setup, six-speed manual gearbox, Brembo racing brakes, GWA-designed wheels, and Fabspeed exhaust. This is a great rendition of the Coupe , but with an LS in it what the point of using the Stud body?
  22. Does the film have any plot or is it just action ,action, action, action? Sorry I am old and think a film needs a reason for the action to happen. The Models that come from this film will be cool though.
  23. This is incredible. What a great job. So where do you find 1/24 scale snowmobiles?
