  1. Great build . Tires could be sanded a bit though.
  2. Another great looking model from you Sir.
  3. Great start , well planed for the defense or the attack mode.
  4. Do you think that NASCAR is losing money ? I think the track owners are the people losing the money. Bill Francs would be happy with the bottom line.
  5. What if you started with the end shapes you want , then take a two liter bottle center and glue it to the ends . If you split the bottle you can get the shape and length of the tank you need.
  6. Another 63 /64 Buick Riv glue bomb and a 65 Riv parts car this week.
  7. Great start, we all make mistakes so do not let it get you down. You will get better as you go . Don,t worry about the paint for the first few kits.
  8. This takes me back. My Late brother beat the snot out of a red 73 Grabber rust bucket for several years. 302 ,3 speed ,( we installed headers) , it had the taller rear spoiler on the trunk lid and it had the cool hood with the fake scoops. If I could find a clean one I would try and buy it . Great looking cars.
  9. We are getting rain now after 2 to 3 inches of snow. What a mess outside. Just North of Toledo Oh .
  10. Does the badge help with the showgirl type ?
  11. The Monroe MI had nothing on sale Thursday night.
  12. Not only does this thing have a large amount of torque but the teeth in this machine are very tough. My guess is electric ran by a Diesel generator . I am wrong . The VB 950 has a single Caterpillar C18 diesel engine pushing out 710PS (700hp) and…440,000Nm (324,483 lb-ft) of peak torque, and if that doesn't impress you, how about the VB 1500 that has two C18 diesel mills delivering 1,500PS (1.479hp) and - wait for it- 1 million Nm or 737,463 lb-ft!
  13. Great start.
  14. So true Nick. My Mom passed last October , just two months short of 56 years for Mom and Dad.
  15. While reading this post they were having a Funeral for two fire fighters in Toledo. It was a sad weekend for T-Town. Than when I read this after work it got a bit worse. Building-owner-charged-firefighters-murder, It turned out to be arson, this guy started an Apartment Building on fire with people living inside.
  16. Aaron and David if you can find a Model Engineering Show by your house it is a must visit. Sherline are always at the Michigan show. The old timers will help you out with anything you need for advise.
  17. Great start.
