Part sickness sometimes, part thrill of the chase for the collection. 90% of the time only buy what I would like to build , the other 10% is for trade bait if the price is good.
Now that the kit prices have doubled in the last 15 years or so, it has become an investment. LOL
Yes they did . just stuck the label on the plastic wrap.
The other one had some USPS bag/wrap on it that was very hard to tear( mostly had to cut it ) .
Not a member here . Form ebay.
Had been low ball bidding on a few 30 ford station wagons , Well I won them both OOPS . When the one showed up last week it was a kit box wrapped in a mailer bag. The one that showed up today just had a label on the box shrink wrap. Funny thing they are both fine. Look better than the mag that showed up last week .

This is spot on Harry . By asking a question you can start a conversation. You can do the same with the answer. One day you might need something also. like a hood or decal sheet . People remember the nice ones.
I have used the Rubbermaid brand of purple power for chrome. I was told that it is the same stuff that Zep makes . It is fast and does a good job. Just remember that it is a concentrated cleaner. WEAR GLOVES it will dry out your hands faster than you think. This will take off most paints also.
